"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"I actually found Mr. Fraser on Angie's list for my mom. She had several tasks to be done and was unable to get anyone to call her back and/or follow through with appointments. Mr. Fraser quickly returned her call, was prompt with his appointments or notified her if he was going to be late. He and his helper performed well beyond my mother's expectations. They cleaned up after themselves, performed all the tasks she requested and even done some things for her she didn't request at no additional charge. She was so impressed, she requested a quote to re-do her back deck and he will replacing that as well. He is very detail oriented, takes pride in his work and very reasonable. "We originally called Bellisle for a garage door repair. They showed up within 30 minutes of my frantic call of finding my garage door on the floor of the garage and had the door repaired within a couple of hours. They even finished the installation of the garage door opener we were working on when the door fell. They didn't try to upsell or add on any additional services. They did a fantastic job and left the area cleaner than they found it. We later found out that they could also repair siding so we had them come out to repair some rotted siding. They came out to look at the problem area, gave us a reasonable estimate within a couple of hours, and did the work 4 days later. In both instances, Kevin showed up ahead of schedule, worked efficiently, worked quietly, and left the area cleaner than he found it. The siding repair looks better than the original installation 50+ years ago."
