From the initial on-site visit by the proprietor, through the meticulous, detailed, clean work of Ishmael and the crew. All conducted in a focused yet easy-going atmosphere pleasant demeanor. As in many projects unforeseen challenges arose. Ishmael explained patiently the options, experimented with possible solutions and ended up delivering a beautiful home. After the project was done, there was a slight question of aesthetics and whether we made the right choice. Ishmael came over the weekend and worked for hours, with no charge(!) to reverse that decision and implement a different solution. "I can’t say enough about how happy we are with the job completed by Igor and his crew! We did a lot of research before entrusting them with our new home as we needed a lot done. We had our staircase completely replaced, new wood flooring on our second floor landing, and sanding and refinishing to a lighter color in our family room, dining room and foyer. We also had LVP installed in our kitchen and everything looks amazing! Here are some highlights about the job: - Excellent work for excellent value - Igor really cares about his customers! For example, he suggested during mid-job I replace my old posts and handrails instead of sanding and refinishing and adjusted the price down. They worked extra hours to get things right. He hired a painter to fix patching and painting we should have expected from the staircase demo. He helped us clean the dust and addressed touch ups - From quote through completion they were done in less than two weeks and this was a big job. - Highly recommend!"

"I hired Aurelio to refinish my old oak stairs, carpeted at the time. After removing the carpet, we realized installing new stairs would have been the "better" option, but my budget didn't go in that direction. Aurelio and his team did their best to repair the damage and refinish the stairs. Aurelio suggested adding molding and 3/4 rounds to hide the places that couldn't be fixed, and that was a great idea. I'm sure when the project is finished (I'm having a painter paint the front faces of the stairs white), I'll be happy with the results, but I wish I had known a few things before hiring: 1) That the "material" (which wasn't included in the quote) would be grossly overpriced (I paid $1,200 for the carpet removal, repairs, sanding, staining and poly-coating, and $550 for material) 2) That the workers wouldn't wear shoe covers to keep my existing wood floors clean 3) That some wholes wouldn't be filled 4) That vertical surfaces of the stairs wouldn't be touched/fixed 4) And last but not least: That I would have NO SAY in the finish color. I wasn't shown a sample, given a color name, or called on site before the stairs were completely stained (and impossible to re-stain, I was told). The final color is about four levels lighter than my original wood floor (and the rest of my house). I understand you cannot match colors exactly, but the difference in tone and level is very noticeable. My "new" stairs are a light-ish pine-like color; my existing floors are between American Oak and Gunstock. As Aurelio puts it "When there are no lights on, you don't notice the color difference". I'm giving the company a B for the hard work done. But I learned my lesson."

"I had original (1947) hard wood floors refinished. I worked with Al. Some areas were in need of a lot of work. The crew did an excellent job. They went beyond my expectations using great care around my home. I did not realize some of the extra things that needed to be done, such as removing curtains and doors, covering doorways and closet contents with plastic. Everyone was respectful of my home and family. The floors look amazing! I will be calling Al for other jobs in the future. Before photo and some after photos."

"We pulled old carpeting up and had issues with the old floor beneath. They had to join the floors of two rooms to a hallway by splicing new pieces of hardwood in because previous owners moved walls and just carpeted over the entire upstairs afterward. We hired them to splice in the threshold areas, and also remove the carpet that went down the stairs and refinish it all. They were fabulous, extremely nice to work with, super clean. We literally had no dust to speak of afterward. Great guys - we recommend them wholeheartedly!"

"Alberto is a hard worker, honest and friendly. He was honest about how our floor will look after refinishing. He gave us choices regarding the finishes and how it will look. Honest about the pros and cons of using oil versus water base finishes. Our floors were old, a little buckled and yellow/orange. He made them look brand new and smooth. Took the old yellow oil base finish away. Brightened up the entire first floor and made the wood grain and natural color appear again. We are very happy with his work and would recommend him to everyone."

"I purchased a multifamily house with 2 stories. The 2nd floor had 1 inch original hardwood from 1920 that laid on the floor joists so you could hear every footstep downstairs and my tenants almost moved out. I hired Cesar to take on a tedious and technical ceiling soundproofing technique for the apartment using RSCI rubber clips, hat channels, insulation, and making the 1st floor airtight. I was so impressed with how he was able to juggle handling my tenant for 2 weeks, compensating for delayed shipping by driving 3 hours to New York and picking up the materials himself to make sure we meet the deadline, redoing 1 entire room at his loss and not charging me for it because the original technique we tried did not work, and listening and working with me to make sure we didn't miss any details that would cause sound transfer (and this was impressive because I am very detail oriented). My tenants moved in and were very impressed by the finished looked of the new ceilings and crown molding. We saw a sound improvement of about 15 STC in both airborne and impact noise. It cut down sound transfer by 2/3 in the 1st floor apartment. I will be adding rubber underlayment upstairs underneath the new flooring to completely block out the rest of the impact noise that transfers from the floor above to the walls downstairs that support it! I'll be calling Cesar and his crew again."

"Bruno at Boral Construction was responsive and completely professional from the beginning. I needed new countertops to replace damaged butcher block countertops for a rental unit. I needed it fast and within a certain budget. Bruno worked with me to find a great looking granite slab within my budget. He explained each step and when it would occur. Everything he said happened exactly as he said it would. To give context, I contacted Bruno at the end of one week, and the new countertops were beautifully installed by Friday of the following week. This sort of thing usually has hiccups and delays. Not this time. I couldnâ t be happier."
