"Ishmael and his team are excellent. My wife and I have nothing but positive things to say. From the start, Ishmael was clear and communicative, and made great suggestions for how we could achieve the best possible outcome. He came out to give us a quote on a Saturday and by that evening, we had the quote in hand. The job started on Tuesday. He stuck to his word across everything, and we are in love with our new (and newly refinished) floors. He was creative in his approach to some challenging situations with the floors, and went out of his way to add extra little finishes to ensure we loved the final result. The crew broke an outlet during the process (totally understandable, given the huge planks of wood coming up) and Ishmael even came to the house last night at 9pm to replace it. He's true to his word, he's reasonably priced given the excellent service, and it was a true pleasure working with him. And most importantly: we LOVE our floors! Thanks, Ishmael."

They went beyond my expectations using great care around my home. I did not realize some of the extra things that needed to be done, such as removing curtains and doors, covering doorways and closet contents with plastic. "We pulled old carpeting up and had issues with the old floor beneath. They had to join the floors of two rooms to a hallway by splicing new pieces of hardwood in because previous owners moved walls and just carpeted over the entire upstairs afterward. We hired them to splice in the threshold areas, and also remove the carpet that went down the stairs and refinish it all. They were fabulous, extremely nice to work with, super clean. We literally had no dust to speak of afterward. Great guys - we recommend them wholeheartedly!"

"I purchased a multifamily house with 2 stories. The 2nd floor had 1 inch original hardwood from 1920 that laid on the floor joists so you could hear every footstep downstairs and my tenants almost moved out. I hired Cesar to take on a tedious and technical ceiling soundproofing technique for the apartment using RSCI rubber clips, hat channels, insulation, and making the 1st floor airtight. I was so impressed with how he was able to juggle handling my tenant for 2 weeks, compensating for delayed shipping by driving 3 hours to New York and picking up the materials himself to make sure we meet the deadline, redoing 1 entire room at his loss and not charging me for it because the original technique we tried did not work, and listening and working with me to make sure we didn't miss any details that would cause sound transfer (and this was impressive because I am very detail oriented). My tenants moved in and were very impressed by the finished looked of the new ceilings and crown molding. We saw a sound improvement of about 15 STC in both airborne and impact noise. It cut down sound transfer by 2/3 in the 1st floor apartment. I will be adding rubber underlayment upstairs underneath the new flooring to completely block out the rest of the impact noise that transfers from the floor above to the walls downstairs that support it! I'll be calling Cesar and his crew again."
