"We hired this company for a second time this year to do major work on the concrete outside our home. We had our front porch, steps and patio redone: old concrete demolished and removed, new concrete installed, with new stucco on the foundation, and white vinyl railings installed. The finished work exceeds our expectations. For other home owners, I would recommend them. Zachary and Nick are genuinely nice. They oversaw the project and there was good communication throughout. They paid attention to my concerns, and had good ideas about the concrete dimensions and railing placement. The crew did an outstanding job, were respectful, and did a thorough job of yard cleanup. "Jerome and his team were amazing and got our job done in the time estimated. They had to repair a concrete floor in a difficult location that required removing the broken concrete (reinforced with brick!) by hand and up a steep flight of stairs. "Initial phone contact good, pleasant conversation with owner who requested photos and then came (although an hour late) to scheduled appointment.
After sending in deposit for work, had to wait longer than the expected (promised) time for work to be started and completed which was need by deadline set by my home owner insurance company
Had to call owner and remind him  close to deadline at which time he promised to get work finished soon but gave no definite date.
Finally  called and came to do work and assured me that he could complete on his own without my being present.
Returned to find job finished but not well done.   Side  hand rail severely bowed,  porch rails not carefully installed - misaligned with porch concrete runners.  Since I was under severe time pressure from insurance company did not challenge but unsatisfied with the work done.
overall impression:  small 1-2 man operation which rushes to jobs as they come in ;    fair-poor  overall workmanship
would go with an established more professional firm next time

"From beginning to the end the guys at Rock creek were amazing. We had them submit plans and drawings to give to our HOA and after plans were approved the guys started building the deck immediately. The deck was done within the time frame they had provided us. Steve was great to deal with and the guys who built the deck showed up early at 8 am everyday and stayed till late evening to finish it. They didn't waste anytime they didn't take smoke breaks or waste time talking on cell phones. They worked hard even in the blazing sun and efficiently without taking shortcuts.
