"Sorin and his father in law(unfortunately I don't remember his name) did a great job installing wood floors throughout the whole house. They also did all of the baseboards. Sorin really cared about the final results and went above and beyond to make my wife and I extremely happy about the finished product. We had other projects going on and he worked around our schedule. They were reasonably priced and didn't try to nickel and dime us for the extra work that was needed. "Installers did not come on time, two hours late. Then they had to validate that we paid Empire, which took an hour. The estimate of work was totally wrong, we were supposed to get a floating floor but the installers said they could not do that So they instead did a complete teardown of the existing floor and removed all the old tiles. The quarter round was included in the price of the materials but was never installed because we did not get a raised (floating) floor. So I think I was overcharged for the materials which were not used. I spoke to a number of persons at Empire about such issues without any resolution to my satisfaction. Besides all the problems encountered we do like the floor and it nice looking."
