"It's always a crap shoot on hiring a contractor. The first estimate I got was three times what Doug quoted me. Not only would I recommend him, we're already planning another job with him. His crew were obvious concrete experts. I've actually got people slowing down pass my new driveway to check it out. It's nice to know there are still contractors out there who do excellent work at a fair price. Who show up when they say they will , and bring competent workers with them ."

"I called to cancel it because, there was a lot of miscommunication. There was not enough understanding of what I needed and what they were doing. Then they tried to help me out, it turned out OK in the end and it got resolved. It took me a while to call them because, I had surgery. They were responsive and good. What I had done took longer, so I had to pay another $400. I would have done more research, or gotten more bids on it. They were pleasant, and responsible. For me, it would have been better if they had sent someone at first, before they did the job. I would have shown them what needed to be done, and they would have understood me better. They were punctual."
