Owner was nice and gave a decent estimate.  Job was canceled twice due to rainy weather and once due to unavailability of his workers.  He did bring 4 workers with him to the job.  They did a pretty good job of trimming the saplings, tree branches and cutting some larger limbs. When they started working on an area, they worked pretty quickly.

At one point I heard a loud ruckus coming from the workers in the backyard.  The owner promptly told me that a squirrel suddenly landed down on the roof next to a worker and had scared him.  After they finished the job I found that 3 of my fence pickets in the backyard, were broken.  They were just under a limb that was cut near the fence. The owner obviously didn't want to tell me and just covered it up. I realize that he did not want the time and expense of replacing them.  The problem with that is that he never reviewed the overall job with me after completion, and that is not good.

Other than that, the work was good.  I would have liked to have my back trees over the grass near the back patio, thinned out more. The ground clean-up was contractor- good.  Although you saw them raking a lot, it wasn't enough to clean-up the driveway edges, plant beds and deeper grass.

Another note: Several times I was speaking with the owner while someone was spraying the tree cuts with tree paint, up above us. Later, the owner said he felt very sick. I didn't tie it into that spraying, but that night and next day, I felt very ill myself.  I would recommend not spraying above people, in the future.

"I called Superior Irrigation after the reps from two other companies had attempted to find the malfunctioning control value and failed. Both suggested that extensive digging/excavation would be necessary to locate it. (System was installed by previous homeowner.) Additionally, the one provider who was willing to undertake this job couldn't schedule it for 3+ weeks. I called Superior Irrigation on the recommendation of a neighbor. Superior had me scheduled within a week and Fred Perez (the technician) had the problem located and repaired within 90 minutes after arriving. Turned out, it wasn't the control valve but rather a broken electrical wire. The cost was certainly less than I had been anticipating and Fred also located the control valve as well. I've used other irrigation services in the past but Superior Irrigation and Lawn will be my "go to" service in the future. As far as I'm concerned, an "A" rating isn't high enough."

"Tony, his sons, employees, and subcontractors were all very professional! They were all hard working, kept a clean worksite, provided all their own equipment, and they all had excellent skills and craftsmanship! Tony used very reliable subcontractors for concrete pour, stamping and stain. His electrician, masonry, and granite contractors were top notch! Tony and his sons installed our pergola and it's impressive! I had told him in the beginning I was working on a time limit and needed the project completed well before a set date and he made sure it happened! I gave him my concept drawing and he made it reality! He kept me informed all along the way of what was happening and if there were delays or issues (weather was the biggest problem). He was very honest and flexible. His contractors came out started and completed the jobs given in a timely and professional manner. Wow, they even stayed until late at night to complete a job because they knew the weather would delay the project going forward. Although we had a wet summer and he had to dodge the rain, my beautiful and well-constructed patio is the envy of the neighborhood! The best part of the experience was the way he made us feel as customers. He cared about our wishes and desire to be wow’d and he responded quickly to our questions and concerns; we felt valued as a customer! In the end he took the time to create a drone aerial photo of our new patio; it was brought into perspective the awesome work and a dream come true. I can't say enough, I'm so proud to show off my new patio escape! I’m very particular and I want to say thank you Tony for putting up with my many changes!!!! Your work is A+++"
