"When we found out we were moving to Houston, we were ready to give up our collection of “make do” furniture after years of traveling abroad for work. Our home was newly built with gray interior walls, white trim and hardwood floors throughout, a blank palette. We wanted to have a coordinated look that reflected us. This is the first time we consulted with a designer. She was upfront with her fees and her process. We viewed this as an investment and, upon reflection; her knowledge and contacts saved us hours of research and searching showroom floors. We discussed what we liked from the rooms featured on her website and then went shopping with her, so she could see what else we liked and how we responded to what she showed us. Missy is easy to talk to and most importantly an excellent listener. Missy showed us what we could achieve through custom upholstery and furniture, something we would not have done on our own. She guided us through the process of selecting unique fabrics that would work together with our chosen selection of chairs, sofas and pillows. We had not used rugs in any of our prior homes and we had a great time selecting them and love the look and function they provide. Missy suggested using shutters on the thirty-two windows in our home. That was a big commitment and the results were stunning. They look great inside and out, function perfectly and appear as though they came with the house. We specifically wanted a library. Missy has a “less is more” approach when it comes to the things we accumulate through the years. We agreed in principle, but told her how much we wanted a library and what that space would mean to us. She suggested a carpenter and together we met and discussed our options and timelines. The built-in white bookcases match the style of our home and maximized the shelf and storage space that we needed. When our books arrived from years of storage, Missy saw what we loved about the space. The rug, chairs, table and decoration perfectly completed the room we had imagined. The media room started with as a big blank square space. With Missy, we found a large comfortable sofa to anchor it. We needed storage in the room in addition to a cabinet to hold a large television. After looking at the options, we chose custom cabinets. They are slightly taller than most of the commercial available, beautifully finished and literally made for the space. We can’t imagine the room with anything else. She selected black lamps, which give just the right amount of light for watching a movie and a rug to tie it all together. Also this room provided the most wall space to hang the art we had bought over the years. She suggested re-framing three prints into the same size and color frame and now we have a statement wall that adds color and tells a story. Missy’s touch is found in every room of the house and on our front porch in the form of two orange rocking chairs and large blue planters. We couldn’t be happier."

"LaDonna worked with us to create a design that fit both my husband's and my style. She offered many options of great fabric, and even sent samples to our house for us to review while were contemplating the final design. The turnaround time from order to installation was quick (~4 weeks), and everything turned out exactly how we wanted. There was a little issue with the roman shade pulling in at the sides at first, but LaDonna came back within the week and spent a couple of hours fixing the shade to eliminate the issue and be to our liking. She said she wanted us to be 100% happy, and we are. We are extremely pleased with our new window treatments and how everything turned out, and are appreciative of LaDonna's willingness to continue helping us until we got everything perfect. I also received several other quotes for the project prior to deciding to go with LaDonna. The design for each quote was almost identical, but LaDonna was by far the most competitively priced, and the quality in my opinion was still excellent. I would definitely hire LaDonna for future projects at my home and recommend her to family/friends."

"Work was scheduled in two phases. First was to remove carpet from the master closet and study and install new laminate flooring. The second was after the painters had finished, they removed the old laminate floor and installed new floor with trim in den. James Foley and his partner was very professional about their work and kept us informed as to what they were doing. Both were pleasant to work with. The end results was a very professional job which exceeded our expectations. The salesman, Mark Budd, worked with us during the entire process and was helpful with the flooring samples and project completion. "I got a deal from Berger about their table pad and just in time for my new dining room set. I didn't have time to set the template due to a new baby in the house.
