Emerald City Chimney on the other hand was honest and thoroughly dismantled all the b******* the others tried to sell me. That’s what happens when you actual experienced workers take the lead instead of salespeople. It took a while to figure out exactly what the best approach would be, but in the end I got a job done for like $650 when the others wanted like $3000. I bought a custom fit chimney cap myself for like $200 I think and then had emerald city retrofit and install it for $450."

"I don't usually write reviews, but definitely want to write one for Tekline Roofing. My brother in law recommended Tekline and we are very pleased we had their group do the work. Their customer service was excellent and they responded very quickly with questions. Norm was great at explaining the roofing process, how to get prepared, etc. The cost was very reasonable for the work that was done. Our home is old and has a somewhat complex roof and they definitely didn't cut any corners. We felt confident the work was being done well. The work took longer than expected, partly because they discovered there wasn't plywood on parts of our roof, something they couldn't determine until the old shingles were removed. Tha was excellent and came by our home a few days before the work started to discuss how they would protect our garden-landscaping. They daily placed tarps and plywood to protect damaging things outside and they cleaned up every day after 11-12 hours of hard work. Misael oversaw the daily work and took photos and the team shared updates and photos on a regular basis. At the end of the project, my garden looks great! The roof was just completed this week and they will be back to replace one of the skylights in our attic that was on backorder."

"Jerrod the owner of Archstone was emphatic to point out that he is one of the best if not the best and a very conscientious and honest man. He said the mortar on exterior house wall is very hard and can't be ground out. Per his expert advise the best things is pressure wash and scrape out loose and damaged mortar and use sponging technique to fill in cavities with type S mortar. I understood and agreed asking for care with pressure washer. Quote was $2922 before tax. He said the wall wouldn't look much better than it does now but he would get all the places having egregious deterioration and then seal. Two days work. Moving forward his team (him and a 18 year old nephew) came and went in less than 4 hours. Sealant remained to be done and I could see that cost was itemized at $400. I personally could do it in 1/2 hour so I asked him to scratch it from the price. He was very amenable to that. The issue arose when I was sealing I found and sent him photos of spots with severe erosion that were missed and should take about 1 hour to fix. Some on wall, one in bottom corner of house, one big seam in windowsill. I sent email and photos asking for him to return. He didn't reply. 1 week later I reached him by phone and he said he didn't get the email/or hadn't read it yet but he wasn't going to come back for 'pinholes' which I could do myself. First of all I could do everything myself but that's time that I paid him for. He is too busy to come. Photos are from the south wall as discussed."

"While there are always 2 sides to every story, I had witnesses and live video for the police report. The police Report is available for you to review! On 9/15/2021 I called Gutter King and requested a quote on some gutter replacements. 9/22/2021 I received a quote and agreed with their quote and scheduled an installation date. My installation date was November 11/01/2021 through 11/05/2021. That install date came and went and a week later I received a call and was informed they were still another 2 weeks out. I made other installation arrangements with another local company and had the gutters installed after Gutter King failed to call or show up as scheduled. On November 29th, 3:30pm a guy walked up to the house as I returned home and was very sarcastic and degrading. He became combative and started yelling at me. I told him him "get off my property" and he continued to walk up to me and push out his chest as to wanting to fight! He was parked very close to our RV Coach and I stood in front of the van and told him to "back up". The installation guy was angry and got out of his van and aggressively confronted me, once again, and wanting to fight, using words like "old man and piece of sh*t" in my face. I proceeded to call the owner and at that time. The install guy sped off assaulting me and hitting me with his company van. I told the owner "your guy just hit me with your van and drove off". I had to hang up and call 911. 911 Medics checked my shoulder, probably PT required. The installation guy was not wearing a mask. Company representative was extremely rude with no respect to the customers. Confrontational Gutter King installation guy. Hit and run is never okay Owner DID NOT call or follow-up with me on situation. 911 medics and King County Police responded. Please reconsider using this company Poor EVERYTHING and this installer should not be a member of any company or team. Is this the best employee you can find, Chuck Elvig? Boo on your business. Buyer Beware, of BAD contractor."
