"Excellent. Dennis, the inspector, called in advance to let me know when he would arrive, he reviewed installed systems and previous work, and inspected the property. I suspected that this would also be an opportunity for them to suggest additional work, which Dennis did, including purchasing future inspections, some work around the house foundation and injections to lift our sunken sidewalk and gaps under our concrete front porch. No purchase was made at the time, but I am considering some suggestions, which I found helpful. Dennis was very courteous, and observed necessary precautions during these COVID times."

"We had several contractors come out to look at our Major foundation issues, large cracks, bowed walls, plugged drain tiles. After doing research on several busnesses we chose Accurate due to the many positive feedback reviews and meeting with Brian several times for an estimate and detailed information on their plan to solve our problem. We had to wait several weeks to get on their schedule and prayed for no snow or heavy rain. We got lucky and an Army of Accurate trucks , equipment and personnel came out on Monday , Dec 2nd. Not a second of time was wasted. Everyone had a mission and task and they did not hesitate to jump into this project. Tony explained their plan for the next several days and the crew got right to work. I dont think these guys even took a break . Fantastic work ethic. If I had any questions they were answered immediately and the entire project was completed in two days. Amazing... they fixed the walls, installed steel bracing, excavated the exterior and applied a sealer and new exterior and interior drain tiles. I cannot say enough. We had to wait to get Accurate to do the job but we are so happy that we did wait. I want to thank all the workers, Tony and also Cristella who called me prior to the start to explain what and when this would start. Again, as the homeowner for 32 years this was the most stressfull time in my life but once Accurate started I could see that I had nothing to worry about anymore. They did a fantastic job in just two days .. Also I have to add that their clean up of the job site each day was also amazing. You can barely tell that we had major work done. They swept the floors, driveway at both our home and our neighbors . They even cleaned the street making sure that no debris would be washed down the street to one of our neighbors. Inside clean up was also fantastic . I barely had to sweep as all the debris from this major, messy project was cleaned up and taken away. This may sound like thats not a big deal but we have heard horor stories on what contractors leave for the homeowners to do. That was just an added bonus of this fantastic company and group of guys... THANK YOU ALL..."

Jon from Accurate called the night before the consultation to confirm the appointment and gather additional information. During the consultation, Jon was extremely helpful in explaining the problem with the water in the basement, provided helpful solutions, and patiently answered our many questions, even though the necessary fixes were primarily “outside” fixes. "We signed a contract with BSI on May 22, 2014 for the basement repair work at our home.  The contract was done via email, something I value for recording purposes.  My only complaint with BSI was the delay in getting a date (even approximate) for our job.  We understood it was a smaller project but since we needed to remove our outside A/C unit before excavation, we needed a starting date for planning.  We didn't get that until July 23rd, one week before they started work. <br /> The crew was exceptionally friendly and respectful of our property.  They placed 4x8 sheets of OSB across everywhere they were driving vehicles and our lawn showed virtually no evidence of the work after they left.  I document all work at my home with photos, something that can sometimes make a contractor uncomfortable.  The BSI workers showed no problems with this so I snapped away.  They cleaned up at the end of each day, protecting the excavation area with fencing for safety.  When they finished with the exterior, all we had to do was lay some grass seed.  No other cleanup or landscaping was necessary. <br /> The interior had cinder blocks that had moved and was right where my main electrical circuit boxes were located.  BSI straightened the wall without my having to move any electrical and after tuck-pointing you could not tell that there had ever been any damage. <br /> My wife and I are very pleased with the work BSI did for us and would gladly use them again. <br />"

"Kyle came over and walked around, reviewing the issues and explaining options to getting the water out of the basement. His recommendation was to install a sump pump, and set up a system to pump the water out of the house. He mentioned installing additional drainage options around the window well of the leaky window. I asked about the wall in the garage that was creating the majority of the problem--how would they repair it. He mentioned a few options and stated that he needed to discuss the situation with his team and would get back to me. Took photos and measurements. Was here about an hour documenting all the issues. <br /> A week later Kyle came back with recommendations from the team. There was no mention of repairing the damaged foundation wall. I used another company that rebuilt the wall with cinder blocks and concrete, and sealed up the leaky window. No leaks. No need for a sump pump system. <br /> If you need a sump pump system, I think this company would do an excellent job. Very detail oriented. <br />"

"The approached to my garage had cracked and was in need of repair. I was given a free estimate on what needed to be done at a very fair price. Mark showed up early ,cut out all the damaged area and repaired the approach with new cement, he also had it tapered away from the garage floor for proper water drainage.I’m very happy with the work that was done. When the job was finished they did a great job in cleaning up the entire area.I would recommend Great Lakes Contracting for any type of cement work that would need to be done. "We're very happy with the work. Chris came out quickly and provided a detailed estimate within a week or two. The price was in the middle of other estimates we received, but they stuck to it except for a few extra projects we voluntarily added on once work started, which he priced out for us in advance so we knew how much we would be adding. Chris was on the job every day with his various crew members, and he was happy to discuss progress as it went. They worked long hours and finished earlier than their original timeline, which was a nice bonus. Most importantly, we're happy with the work itself, and everyone who sees it comments on how great the new basement looks. We would definitely use them again for other remodeling projects."
