"They arrived right at the beginning of the time slot. They repaired all three crowns with new mortar, then sealed them plus the top crown. They wire brushed the chimney and applied a sealant on the whole chimney. Since I did not obtain any other bids for this work, I have no idea how good or bad the price is, thus the B grade for price. They have done prior work for me and have cleaned my chimney for years so I trust them. Workers were friendly and polite and cleaned everything up when they were done."

"It went great! Ted and Lee came when it was pouring and put a tarp around my 40+ year old chimney. Ted ordered a new cap. When the cap arrived and the weather co-operated (10 days), the crew came and pressured washed the chimney's exterior, cut out and grouted new mortar into the joints, installed new counter flashing and installed a stainless steel full cover chimney cap. That needed to be done in two installments for the interior of the chimney needed more drying time...another 4 days. No problem, for there was no more leaking!! Was a pleasure to deal with Ted and company. They were pleasant, courteous, helpful, and informative. Will be out again when the rain stops and it warms up to apply a water repellent . "Too bad they only offer 5 stars-I would've rated them 10! We had a fireplace service out a couple of weeks back. The tech opened up the fireplace, banged around, and determined that we needed $2550.00 worth of work done on the unit. Jonathan was my second opinion for the job. He opened it up, looked around, and determined that it simply needed a good cleaning and some adjusting. He cleaned the unit and the exhaust, worked on it for roughly an hour, and had it working like new, for less than half the price the other company quoted us. On top of all this, Jonathan explained to us exactly how the unit worked so we would have a better understanding of the lighting process. Now a bit about Jonathan. This man is bright (extremely), honest (my instinct tells me as much), and has a frankness in his demeanor that is fresh and welcome in these times where everyone seems to be on the grift. "Replacement of chimney went very well and I am very pleased with the look. Previous chimney was leaking through mortar cracks and was faced with basalt rock. It would have been very expensive to tear down and replace and Chris suggested several brick colors, dropped them over for us to consider, and drew some pictures of replacement chimney to match mid century house and neighborhood. He also reused old cap material on new chimney and was able to use material to repair rear brick chimney cap."
