"<p>I was totally impressed with Dave and his wife, Maurny. At first, they turned down the business because trailers that old 19 years have many issues rust, poor breaks and tires etc. I respect someone that tells you the truth. They guided me in a fair amount of detail on what to look out for in selecting a hauler.</p> <p>I went to Bay City Michigan and bought the boat. When I was there I took extensive pictures of the trailer, brakes and tires.There were three spare tires. The boat/trailer spent most of it's life in a barn and was in great condition. I had the bearings repacked and brakes inspected. </p> <p>I came back and called Dave for a recommendation, his wife said they would look at the pictures and decide.</p> <p>I got another quote . which was nearly half of Dave's price. I paid Dave twice the price because he had all the credentials, insurance, experience etc. I don't think one should just take the lowest price when trailering an expensive boat. Even though most haulers are insured, damage to the boat would have cost me a sailing season.</p> <br />"
