"At the beginning of our search for remodeling our kitchen countertops, and in looking at the Angie's list of providers, we stopped by Schneider Stone without an appointment to see what they had to offer and look over their showroom.  <br /> We were immediately greeted by June, who gave us lots of attention and information, especially considering we did not have an appointment. Not knowing what we wanted, they gave us a tour of their samples and then a list of granite warehouses we might want to visit to help narrow down the options. <br /> We live almost an hour away, but they were willing to do business with us, gave us an initial quote, and then continued to email and answer any questions we might have. <br /> If we had lived closer, we would definitely have chosen them as our fabricators, due to their attention to detail and willingness to listen to our needs. "Firstly, this is the second time we have done business with Eric and we cannot say enough good things about his business. Couple of years ago, he did the granite countertops for our new custom kitchen. They had a wide selection of stone from which to choose. They measured very carefully and installed so beautifully that it is difficult to find the seam. Gorgeous results. At the same time, we had them do a granite hearth for the open fireplace (with gas logs) in the kitchen. Perfect fit even in this 1942 farmhouse where nothing is square. <br /> Flawless execution, professional, polite, easy to talk with, delivers when promised - wish all the contractors were this good. <br /> When we renovated the living room last November, we had Eric do a granite hearth for that gas log fireplace, too. Is truly gorgeous. <br /> Cannot say anything about comparative prices since we had obtained a recommendation to go to Eric and did not shop around. "Perfectly! We are very pleased with the results. One part of the kitchen counter top was done as one long piece...no seams!...and as it curves we thought it would be in two pieces so we were very happy. The job was done on time and very professionally. We went to the ProStone display in Winston Salem and Russ was very helpful in assisting us. and was able to give us an estimate that was right on! We also went to the warehouse in Greensboro and looked at slabs of granite there and chose one we loved. Adam was extremely good at helping us plan the cutting to fit our sinks for the best look. We took a sample home and set up the time for the job. Paul and his team were excellent in the installation and everything fit perfectly. We had received estimates from other companies and checked out the "big box" stores and were happy to have gone with Pro Stone. They even recommended a plumber to install the faucets who was very good. All in all a very good update to our home and a very good experience. <br />"

"I had grout on my bathroom and laundry room floor that I had tried just about every product on the market to get clean with no luck. Out laundry room doubles as a mud room and we have two 130-lb dogs that go in and outside through this room and track dirt and mud in daily...the grout that I had just replaced 6 months ago was now totally stained and looked awful.  In searching for another product to try, I came across the Grout Works website and thought, what the heck, I'll get an estimate.  After speaking with John on the phone (he responded to my email inquiry within 24 hours) I was sold on the concept of Grout Works.  John told me that their process and products not only cleans the grout., but applies a sealant that matches the original color precisely and makes it impervious to dirt.  When he told me that I would never have to get on my hands and knees to scrub my floors I told him to come right over!  They came the next day.  The process took less than 2 hours and I am blown away by the results.  My floors look brand new again.  They were also able to get rust stains from a metal container off the white tile.  I couldn't believe the price was so low for such a quality job (and I am a true skeptic who thinks everyone overcharges for services!).  Best of all to clean the floors now all i need to do is spray cleaner on it and wipe it up with a towel (they recommend to not mop or scrub the floors ever again...which is OK with me!)  They were totally professional, nice, friendly guys who obviously take pride in their work.  I recommend this service to anyone who is tired of putting up with less than perfect tile and grout.  My only regret is that I put up with the ugly floors for so long!  I am so completely sold on this service that I am looking into buying a franchise!!"

"I would highly recommend Shelton's to anyone.  They gave me an excellent price  quote and ordered the cabinets for my kitchenremodel.  They gave suggestions for the remodel and also were helpful in saving me money on various areas of the job. They did a complete tear out of kitchen and replaced all cabinets, moved appliances,  and built new soffits.  They had great electricians and plumbers do their part of the job. They contract with Amanzi granite, who did an excellent job in meauring and installation within 5 days. The entire project went smoothly and any questions that I had during the install were promptly answered by Mark Shelton's wife, who always answers the phone in his office and troublshoots  issues. I have since met several others in my area who have had Shelton's remodel their kitchens and they were just as pleased.  Entire job was finished in less than two weeks. <br />"
