"The electrical was already there. They hooked up everything. They took out the old unit and they put in a new unit. It was just a great experience. We were very happy with the product they installed and have had no problems. It went really well. It took them like a day. I had compared prices with other companies. The lower price and high quality that I got from them and excellent customer service made me grade them A overall. I had no complaints whatsoever. They left the service area clean, I didn't even know they were there. What exceeded my expectations was their customer service. Agent Rolando was really available and proactive about communicating, it exceeded my expectations. The company did the job. They were on time. I have no complaints. "Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"
