"Greg’s Carpet Service was exceptionally professional. He even went to bat for us when the big box store we purchased the carpet from damaged the carpet. Greg was very flexible with the timeline as we were carpeting the whole house and we needed time to move things from room to room during the process. He was very kind to our children and pets. He was just an all around good guy who worked very **** ** our project. Many companies might look for reasons to charge more not Greg’s Carpet Service. His prices were very reasonable. I would definitely use this company again."

"When we ordered the tile they really did not talk a lot about the design of the floor. We ended up having to order more tiles once the installer came. They did take back the extra boxes that we did not have to use. Overall I was satisfied with the services. I will use them again in the future."

"<p>I'm moving into an existing home. The carpets were cleaned by another "green" company just a week ago, but at least 50 stains remained. The previous cleaner used a "dry" method that was really nothing more than vaccuming. I was certain I would have to have all the carpets replaced.I was referred to Kleen-Way by someone who had worked with them for several years. They came to re-clean the carpets in less than 3 days, and I really couldn't believe how great the carpets looked after Kleen-Way cleaned them. Nearly every stain had disappeared. The carpet had a whole new life. They saved me thousands in carpet replacement. They were very professional, and explained why "dry" cleaning is not best for every situation. They were fast and left the job site very clean. They are very reasonable priced for the professional service they provide. When you hire Kleen-Way, you are hiring someone who really cares about getting your carpets clean, not just the "appearance" of cleaning your carpets.</p> <br /> I really can't give them enough praise. Best carpet cleaning service I have EVER recieved. <br />"

"From start to finish it was a great experience. Quote was done quickly and guidance was given for choosing our flooring to match our existing cabinets and paint. Installers came in on time, got the job finished in record time, and cleaned up like nothing ever happened. Once we we're done, we we're visited in person by our salesman to make sure everything went as planned."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Kindred, ND

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
