"All went well. When Cutting Edge (Quentin) came out to take measurements for the new countertop he had good suggestions for what style edge we should use based on the look of our new bathroom. He also recommended a width for the ledge piece that sits atop the half wall. And he had a good knowledge of what modifications the new vanity would need to accept the new sinks and faucets. <br /> Installation went well after having rescheduled due to some extreme winter weather. They were able to come on a day when we worked from home and had scheduled several other contractors to complete work on the bathroom. It was crowded but they functioned well with everyone else onsite. They (Todd and another employee) were patient as we decided whether to go with a backsplash or not, and explained what they were doing during the installation and why. There were a couple of small dings in the surface of the Caesarstone we ordered, but Quentin was able to address them so they couldn't be seen or felt so we were satisfied. <br /> Overall we are very pleased and would use them again and/or recommend them to a friend. <br />"

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"Sales: We found Jason to be very helpful in guiding us to narrow our choices in terms of carpet quality, pad quality, carpet style and color. He came to the house within a day and took measurements and upon seeing the wall and baseboard colors helped us make a final decision on color.  <br /> Installation: 2 men arrived at 9:30 a.m. on a nasty, snowy weather day, and left at 4:30 p.m.. They worked straight through the day, took no breaks though a few would have been deserved, and did a fantastic job. They did not scuff the woodwork, dent or mark up the walls. This was on a second floor so they cut out the old stuff, hauled it down steps and hauled the new pad and carpet up, a very challenging path, again, without damaging anything. "I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured.
