He did explain the different types of material and shingle that can be used and what he suggested which was only slightly higher than what my insurance was willing to pay. After research and consulting with a friend who knew way more about this stuff than I, we concluded that what Gavin was saying was correct and a smart investment for out main investment (our home). Once approved and materials ordered, Gavin had a team out here in less than a month and we had a new roof. It made a HUGE difference to the outside appearance of our home. So much so that I felt some other DIY work needed done so it motivated me to complete some other aesthetics to the outside of our house. I was not paid or swayed to say any of these things. I truly feel the way I do because of working with Gavin at Storm Guard. At times you can never tell if the person standing across from you is taking you for a ride. I never had that feeling from Gavin. He is an honest, good person. It was great having him on my side."

They also vented the exhaust through an exterior wall and thankfully our existing cabinetry was able to be reinstalled for a seamless look.
