"We needed a small concrete patio for our umbrella and grill. Joe Eunice Concrete did a fantastic job! He is very honest, hardworking (it was super hot and humid), and did exactly what we wanted. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone that needs an expert concrete guy. "

Small jobs welcome

"I had a bad problem with water runoff and erosion due to the slope of the yard. This creating a bigger issue as it had washed away a lot of the dirt in and around my privacy fence making it loose and unstable. Ortiz Landscape did an owtstanding job with following up with calls. Mr. Ortiz himself was very helpful and had great information for me when he came out to the house to look at the job. He and the company did exactly what we discussed doing by putting in a couple of "catch bassings" and piping and rocks around the fence with concrete to help direct the water to the catch basing. He even came out again to check everything to make sure all was done correctly and to our satisfaction."

"I really wanted to have a good review for BDry. The original salesperson was very friendly and helpful, and the team who came out was very respectful and really worked hard. And for starters, the system was finally installed, and my basement is waterproofed. That being said, I will not be recommending them to others. A one day job turned into 3 drawn out weeks between scheduling BDry to come out a second and third time to finish the "one day" job and to repair mistakes and then also having to reschedule our very busy contractor multiple times to work around BDry's schedule. This resulted in several days without pay for my wife and several wasted personal days that I had to take off from teaching. All told, they did not even fix everything when they came out to do repairs as the onsite worker had told me they would. They had ripped up some of our epoxied basement floor with tape (accidentally), but then when I spoke with a representative about it, they essentially said that they didn't deal with small things like that and that it was my problem. Fortunately, we had just had the epoxy done the past year so we could still find it in store. Unfortunately, the stuff only comes in a $117 container. The biggest issues came with the original salesman giving us certain specifications that we had to have met with demo work before they could come and install the system. Those were communicated to our contractor: "Cut the studs one foot up from the wall". We made sure this happened. When they arrived, they said it had to be demo-ed even further and were going to charge me a fee for it, even though we had demo-ed the way they told us. That was sorted out, and we weren't charged the fee. However, they then proceeded to cut halfway up our walls, mutilating the studs and the drywall above it with the precision of elephants. This translated to a lot of extra labor and a bit more in material costs for our contractor. Our contractor then helped put together an estimate for how much more BDry directly cost us, and it amounted to $400. $400 was a good bit more for us to be paying right now, but I thought it would be no problem at all to get BDry to cover that for us, especially since we weren't even factoring in all of my wife's lost wages. They were resolute in not giving me any discount, insisting that I should be satisfied with them "Not charging me the $300 demo fee", which is irrelevant since it was their mistake that they had to demo more in the first place. Overall, while I am very relieved that the basement is finally finished, I am exhausted from this process dragging on and am very displeased with the company's lack of consideration for our time or the extra money they cost us. I will not be considering them in the future, and I will be warning as many others away from them as possible."

"First the Good News: <br /> <ul> <li>David honored an estimate from a year prior (well, within $500 anyway), which other providers could not do (in fact other providers were asking 15-20% more for the same job this year).</li> </ul> <br /> David responds to phone calls and texts during, throughout, and after the project to answer questions or address concerns. <br /> Entire crew was personable. <br /> Some Bad News: <br /> At end of 2nd day (1/2 day to prep, 1/2 day to pour), all but one of crew left, including owner who asked for check.  Project was looking good (pour in place and now smoothing--I was told remaining crew would simply need to clean up and we'd be set).  I wrote check and when I came out of the house an hour or so later I found a mess of plastic water bottles, concrete spills on the side of my property, all forming around concrete still in place, and a few equipment items lying off to the side.  I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed they'd be back to finish in the morning.  That didn't happen.  I called and left a message for Dave in the afternoon inquiring about when the project would be cleaned and completed. <br /> That night (24 hours after the project) heavy rains created pools of water and mud in the driveway.  The next morning I left a very clear message with Dave.  He responded quickly from out-of-town and told me that if he couldn't get an employee over to finish the job that day (Saturday), that he would personally come on Monday.  In the meantime I popped out the forming at the bottom of the driveway myself to drain the water, ran a hose to assess proper draining and cleaned up the bottles and trash.   <br /> By Monday eveningI was ready to stop payment of the check, but one of the crew showed up around 6:30 PM and got to the cleaning and finishing.  After a couple of hours he told me that his saw was not working and that he'd have to come back again the next night to finish the line cutting.  As it turned out Dave himself came out to perform the line-cutting the next night (Tuesday), and the project was finally complete. <br /> Good News again: <br /> The sloping driveway drains well (not perfect, but likely as close to it as one could reasonably expect.  It looks great! <br /> <br />"

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Kingston, GA

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
