"It took a long time till they could do the work because we had a wet summer and the company was covered up with work, but Theresa and Byron (the owners) kept me informed and let me know when they would be able to come to do my house. "We contacted Jason as a result of the reviews of his work on Angies List.  Jason is a working owner and uses his cell phone to conduct business so, unsurprisingly, it took us a couple of phone tags before we finally connected.  Jason came out after a full day of work and spent about 30 minutes with us discussing possible solutions to the drainage issues we wanted to address.  We settled on installation of a 40-ft retaining wall and a flower bed behind it, as well as modification of the existing irrigation system to accommodate the new construction.  We also asked Jason to do the work necessary to cap off and move any irrigation lines and equipment that would be affected by a related concrete installation project.  During the course of this work, we expanded the scope of the project to include locating and repairing a leak elsewhere in the irrigation system, reviewing and replacing spray nozzles throughout the system as appropriate, and some other general landscaping work.
Jason and his crew arrived within a few days as scheduled.  I was even surprised to see a crew report for a half-day's work on Saturday.  They did a good job of carefully exposing the irrigation lines without damage and recovering parts that we can use during reinstallation.  The retaining wall also has been completed and looks great.  We are on hold for completion of the reinstallation work and remaining landscape pending completion of the concrete work by another contractor and scheduling of Jason's crew.
Jason can be a little difficult to get hold of, and we went a couple of days wondering about the pace of the work, but I'm willing to attribute that to the fact that Jason is already working all day, a probably-misplaced expectation on my part of instant response now that we all carry cell phones, and the fact that I'm a former project manager.  To his credit, Jason accommodated several changes in the scope of work to be done during the project.  He and his team do good work, are dependable, and are fairly priced.  We have been having problems with our current landscaper (Jordan's Landscaping) and hope to replace them with Landscaping Creations for our future work.

"One corner of the house had settled creating cracks in the concrete block walls of the garage. Raisecrete hand excavated the corner plus 1 area on the north wall, and 1 area on the east wall about 5 feet from the corner. They dug to approximately 2 feet below the foundation footer, placed #4 rebar in the areas excavated and poured 4000 PSI concrete to create new spread footers. After the new footers cured, heat treated steel plates were placed on the footers, then 30 ton bottle nose jacks on the plates, then heat treated steel plates on top of the jacks underneath the existing foundation. The jacks were used to raise the foundation back to its original position (as close as possible) and then encased in 4000 PSI concrete. The excavated areas were then backfilled with dirt. In addition, the stucco was removed from several areas along the cracks and carbon fiber strips epoxied to the concrete block. After curing, the carbon fiber patches and the cracks were covered with stucco. The only disappointment with the finished product is that the color of the new stucco is much darker than the existing stucco.
