"Tim and his staff are incredible.  I called Tim to do an assessment of our situation when, during the home inspection, we were told the chimney was unsafe.  I asked Tim for a quote to do the work to make the fireplace and chimney safe and fix a rusted duct that came out of the house off the furnace.  He came out and provided a quote with only a day of notice to meet my aggressive schedule demands.  Then, once we closed on the house, we call Tim to come and do the work.  Tim's staff are all nice, professional, and work hard despite, what looked to be, incredibly difficult conditions.  A lot of soot had been left to sit in our old chimney, which now is clean and works like new.  He and his staff covered the floor to make sure and keep the house clean.  And, the guys worked quick.  Our work was done in a timely manner.  In the Wash/DC metro area, I've had a hard time finding contractors that I would call quality workers.  A&T Chimney is among the best.  If you're questioning whether or not to go with him as your service provider, I wouldn't wait any longer.  I imagine you'll be pretty happy you chose A&T.

"The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."
