"Eric removed two layers of shingles from our 40 year old roof and replaced them with new 3D Duration shingles. The job started with us needing someone to replace some siding on the chimney due to water leaking in behind the siding causing deterioration and paint peeling off of the siding panels. The repair which we were pursuing was relatively small and consequently we contacted several qualified contractors and they were not willing to even come and scope out our job. Someone referred us to Maximus and when I called and talked to Eric, he was willing to take on the project even though it was small. When he showed up to evaluate the situation and give an estimate for the job, he discovered that the cause of our problem was due to the concrete cap around our chimneys that had cracked and separated and allowed water to seep in and deteriorate the trim boards and siding.We agreed to have him replace the siding and trim boards and to replace the chimney chase because his quote was very reasonable. During this same visit, I was asking him about the condition of the shingles on the roof because they had been in place for 20 years. They were showing signs of wear but he said they could last another year or two. I inquired as to the cost of him roofing the house too while he was doing the other jobs for us and that quote seemed very reasonable so I agreed to that job as well. He has just finished the total project in less than a week and everything looks really good. He maintained the schedule that he promised and he was on site nearly every day to make sure things were running smooth. We will definitely call Maximus again when the need arises.

"FANTASTIC! Rick was reasonable, brought another hard worker, they were very courteous and professional AND NEAT. They asked before doing something if they were unsure to make sure we were completely happy with the job. The best part was when they left I noticed a small area that they forgot; however, I called about a 1/2 hour later and he came right back because he wanted to make sure the job was done 100% complete to our satisfaction. "I purchased the $499 Deck Restoration Big Deal. Overall, I was not that pleased with it. It took a lot of effort to schedule- lots of messages back and forth. Then they were an hour late on the day he was scheduled to stain. The workers were polite and quality of the work was adequate, but not great. They power-washed on day one and then came back and stained the next day. The worker was on his cell phone as he was staining, which I thought unprofessional. There were certain higher traffic areas that could have used a second coat, or possibly more extensive prep work, but they seemed there simply to stain, not and quot;restoreand quot;, the deck as the name of the big deal indicated.
