"I hired them to side a 180sqft addition that I'm building myself, and build a landing and stairs at the exterior door. Over all, I was very disappointed with them. To begin, I told them I wanted all wood grain siding and trim, apparently the manufacturer of the siding chosen didn't make wood grain trim so they used smooth trim around the edges and windows, without consulting me about it. By the time I noticed, the siding was already up, and I was told it's too late to fix it. They also used a different kind of trim on everything else that IS wood grained, so they don't match. They never consulted with us about the material to be used for the railings on the stairs. They used a vinyl product that I got a "cheap" feeling from, and was not intended to be used the way it was. When I confronted him about it, he claimed my wife okayed it and if I wanted something else, I was going to have to pay more for it. My wife denied ever ok-ing any material except the deck boards.The quality of the job was the worst part. Absolutely no craftsmanship in their work. They couldn't even paint a straight line. I had them come back a couple times to make repairs to shawty work, but if they didn't know how to do it right in the first place how can they fix it right?. I am a detail oriented person, they are not. If you need a shed built, they would probably do a great job. But I'll never hire them again to work on my house. Troy was a very nice man, and his crew was very respectful, just lacking skill. Also, I told him there was no real rush on the project, so they apparently ran with that, and only worked 2-3 days a week on my job. One week was a rain out, but from start to "finish" was nearly 2 months."
