Once a start date was determined, Mark and his assistants came on those days. When I asked for suggestions, Mark gave input. 2 baths remodeled. I purchased vanities/toilets/faucets/tile/etc on my own: Master bath, demo fiberglass tub and replaced with tile shower. Tiled floor, installed new toilet and vanity, hung mirror & medicine cabinet. Hall bath, demo fibroglass tub, replaced tub with tile to ceiling, tiled floor, installed new toilet and vanity, hung mirror & medicine cabinet. I am completely satisfied with Mark's workmanship and would definitely hire for future projects. "Everything went "more than right"! Since I live and work in NYC, I contacted Joe by phone to ask whether (a) he'd do a move on Veteran's Day (a federal holiday, after all) and (b) whether he needed to do an in-person estimate. After I told him which pieces I wanted to move, he said they'd all fit in the truck so there was no reason for an in-person estimate. We settled on a 9 A.M. move (without me having to take a day off from work for the estimate). He and his team arrived absolutely on time -- perhaps even a little early. I'd changed which pieces I needed moved (more chairs, fewer dressers/chests), but he assured me they'd all still fit. He also noted that he'd brought too many men. This turned out to be to my advantage, though, because the movers had the truck and a car and I, a non-driver, was able to hitch a ride in the car, ensuring the movers, furniture, and I all arrived at Country Meadows Bethlehem simultaneously. Joe and his team needed only about 10 minutes to put the furniture in the truck and perhaps 15 minutes to move it into the building, down the hall, and into my mom's alcove studio. All four movers could not have been nicer or more professional. All this for only $260! I don't think there is a better moving value out there. Although I don't think I'll need to move any more of my mom's furniture to her new apartment, I would retain Ruth's Movers in a heartbeat to do so! In fact, they are movers with skill and "heart"!"
