"We held off on review for about four months because we do not believe you have a balanced picture of your experience immediately as the "newness factor" plays such a part. Last summer Halpert Construction remodeled our bathroom. We were immediately struck by the fact that Mark Halpert listened to us and did not try to take over the project like several of our other bidders seemed to want to. He also explained the whole process and after we hired him it worked just as he said. In fairness we agreed to purchase our own materials except for the basic construction materials (I must say he went above and beyond and purchased a number of things we expected to purchase.) He did help is with referrals to excellent sources. His bid was well within the parameters of the work he was providing and there were no hidden costs or cost overruns. His workers worked for him and were not day laborers and we were extremely pleased with all of them. The workers (and Mark) were excellent to work with and never got tired of explaining and answering our questions. They did their professional work perfectly but always consulted us when there was a design question. If we were having trouble they always gave us some perspectives. Even though we started early there were a couple of SNAFUs as to our part of the purchases--mostly because of the pandemic and the shortage of materials. They took it in stride and worked around these difficulties without complaint. They finished on time and cleaned up well. At the end of the job we did stick on a painting project and he gave us a good price and even pulled his main painter to take care of us that day. After four months we view this project as one of our best improvements on our house and are amazed every day when we use the shower and bathroom. We could wholeheartedly recommend Halpert Construction for any household project--large or small."

"Dave did great work for us. We wanted to update three bathrooms. Dave replaced the floors, vanities, mirrors, and all the fixtures. He also brought in a subcontractor to reglazed the tubs. Dave finished on time, on budget, and the work looks great. I will definitely call Dave next time I need a contractor or handyman."

"We interviewed several general contractors before the project, but after meeting TIM at RCD we were sold. He is a great people person and we trusted his integrity immediately. He did not disappoint! That is obviously why he has been in the business for 40 years. It was a very big job and we are thrilled with the results. There are a couple of things that really stand out. 1. Tim and his entire crew were great and always willing to accommodate our constantly changing plans. Sometimes, when we wanted to upgrade the original plans, there were of course change orders. But often, our requests were made with simply a smile and the results were always exactly as we hoped. 2. Tim would often visit our project and he and his Forman Art were always on the same page. We have never seen a harder working group than the crew on our project. 3. Sometimes, we would be unsatisfied with a particular part of the project, but our comments, no matter how minuscule would be fixed until we were more than pleased. 4. Nearing completion of our project, Art would work long hours making sure every detail was completed properly. He and Tim constantly let us know that they weren't happy until we were happy. And that is exactly how the entire project proceeded to completion. We are so thrilled with the result that we have scheduled phase 2 to remodel the other two bathrooms and laundry room. No telling what our future plans will be but we will call RCD Construction first. If you are looking for a contractor to give you a high quality remodel, we highly recommend RCD Construction."

They are very respectful and we had good conversation that's why I'm using them again to remodel our bathroom. They explained everything that need to be done. Both bathrooms exceeded are expectations and job was performed in a timely manner with constant communication with all aspects of project. The only delays were due to us selecting material not in stock locally...not really a delay. Crew was courteous and kept things clean and tidy during the project. After the majority of the project was complete, a cleaning crew showed up to deep clean bathrooms and general cleaning of the remainder of our home (dust happens during remodel). Price wasn't the least or most expensive and worth the price. Would definitely hire again."
