"As usual with Garafano Electric, everything went fine -- way more than fine, actually. We have used them for years on various upgrades to our 1920's mediterranean home. William, the owner, is great about explaining our options and always finds the best and most efficient way to work within the confines of an older two-story duplex on a sloped lot that has serious access issues. Pricing is fair, they have never failed to show up on the appointed day, and on time, and complete the job as agreed. They have never disappointed for over 20 years, and I recommend them without hesitation!"

"I hired Ken Johnson (Johnson Electric) to correct a number of electrical problems which were identified in a pre-sale home inspection. Among these was a replacement of an unsafe old circuit panel, all new power outlets, conduits and receptacles. Ken provided a quote which was very reasonable. The whole job went really smoothly from start to finish. Everything passed Edison inspection with no problems, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. What we appreciated most was that he didn’t just do the panel upgrade and leave, he also took the time to help organize and clean up our electrical system overall, which was above and beyond what we expected. "On 9/2/2020 I met with several electricians who were not being honest with their quotes. They were taking one quick look during the estimate, then throwing numbers at me. But not Francis. He took notes with his partner and sent me the estimate that evening. Francis was very professional, honest, and did a quick clean job. He did bathroom vents, smoke detectors, upgraded my panel, and replaced a wire that a mouse chewed. I will be calling him for more projects. He is excellent! Glad I found him! *Addendum to Review I used Francis again on10/9/2020 to put up recessed lighting. He and his partner did a quick, thorough, and clean job. He removed the old fluorescent lighting and truly transformed the look. He worked with me on the types of lighting and what would work best before starting, which I appreciated. He took my choices and ideas into consideration and made this a wonderful experience. I hope to be adding more to this review soon and have already recommended him to others."

"We needed a NEMA 14-50 EV charger installed outdoors for an electric car, and got 3 quotes from Angie's List. Based on the 3 bids, it seemed certain we'd need a subpanel breaker box installed as our main breaker box was full and there were no empty slots to assign to the EV charger. However, only Tommy from Fairway offered up a potential solution within the existing breaker box, if they were able to source a hard to find quad breaker. It seemed unlikely, but would save a lot of hours (new box install / wiring under the house) and money. Sure enough, he source the part and made it happen. On top of that, they were professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend!"
