"Outstanding! Very professional, on time, clean, dependable, and respectful of my property.
The fence looks great, and the small section of wood fencing and gate are exceptionally well-built. They look fantastic.
This is the second job Finest has done for me, and I would definitely use them again.

"

"We got the estimate in November, 2014 through Home Depot's install services. They would not schedule an appt for after hours or weekends, so I had to take time off work to meet the sales rep and get the estimate. We had 11 ft of space between our old fence and the sidewalk on our side yard and we wanted to expand our backyard area. I asked the sales rep what code was for placement back from the sidewalk. He did not know (which I found interesting for a fencing contractor). I told him at that time we wanted to be within code or very close so it did not cause issues later. Again, he did not know. He spent more time discussing how great Borg Fence was and all the Home Depot business they were getting and not spending enough discussing our fence. He provided a quote which was slightly higher than other quotes we received, but the sales rep from Borg said he could get us 12 month same as cash financing with Home Depot. We decided to wait until after the holidays at which time I contacted the City of Roseville myself to confirm set back (5') and height limits (7') for our area. Once I obtained that information I emailed it to the sales rep and asked if we could schedule the job. At the same time, I had let him know we had received a coupon from Home Depot for a 24 months same as cash deal for services and asked if we could use that coupon. He thought we could and for me to email it to him (which I did) and we scheduled the date.
The crew arrived as scheduled, but when they started laying out the holes for the posts, they were laying them 4' from the sidewalk instead of the required 5'. They had already dug two when my husband stopped them and pointed out that it was too close to the sidewalk. They said that was what the sales rep drew on the drawing. My husband had difficulty discussing with them where the posts should go as none of them spoke very good English and they had to resort to pointing to the dimensions on a drawing from the company. So he called the Production Manager (who was out that day) and left a message for his backup, then he called the sales rep, but had to leave a message there as well. The Sales Rep called back and spoke to my husband and during their discussion (in which the Sales Rep took an uncalled for hostile tone) the Sales Rep stated that we never discussed a setback from the fence, that he was never told of the requirements, and that they never go by code, only the wishes of the customer. He did call the crew and had them move the holes to 5' as requested, but only after much agruement and the threat of them charging more.
Then they started removing the old fence and we noticed they were sawing off the posts at the ground and buring them instead of removing them completely. We again called the rep to discuss why the posts were not being removed, since the quote stated it included "tear down and haul away of old fence". We made a point that a reasonable person would understand that removal of all of the old fence would include the concrete and entire posts. His response was "we never do that, we just bury them". That if we wanted them removed it would be an additional $50 per post (we had approx 14 posts) and he said it would another day to the job. My husband had taken a vacation day off to be there for the job. He could not take another day without prior notice. Even though we argued with the rep, he was not budging on his stance and since several posts were already now in place, we had them complete it . The fence was completed and looks great. The crew cleaned up everything and finished in 1/2 a day.
I would like to point out that the crew were courteous and respectful, even after having to move the two posts and all of the drilled holes. The biggest issue we have is we want need to have additional work performed (landscaping the new back yard area behind the new fence) in the yard, but will now have to remove the posts that remain for some of the new plants to be planted. Then, to top it off, once the charge was processed through Home Depot it was only setup as 12 months same as cash, not the 24 months with the coupon I had provided. This was resolved by me calling Home Depot credit and having them apply the 24 month coupon. One more thing the rep did not listen to me on. With our experience with the Sales Rep being what it was (disrespectful) we would not currently recommend Borg Fencing to anyone for fence work in our area.
"

"Gary Ambrose and his son did an amazing job installing redwood fencing. I had gotten 3 estimates and his estimate was the lowest and he was the nicest person. The service and the communication was great. They worked very hard and hauled away the old fencing and posts. He dealt with my neighbors and was always smiling and friendly. The finished fence looks awesome!!!! Thank you, Gary. I highly recommend him for your fencing project!!!"

"I got four estimates before I settled on MB Fence. They weren't the least expensive or the most expensive, but fell right in the middle as far as cost. The owner, Omar, sold me with the quality of the product as well as all the excellent reviews that had already been posted. When we agreed on a start date, he and his crew were on time and got right to work in the middle of yet another wind storm. Throughout the the 3 day job his crew was efficient and clean. Omar came out everyday to oversee their progress and to see if I needed anything. They removed and replaced over 150 ft of fencing. When I did occasionally call or email before, during and after completion, Omar was quick to respond. Excellent customer service!! After completion we had another huge windstorm and the fence looks like it's going to hold wonderfully. With a one year labor/installation warranty and lifetime product warranty I'm confident that I made the right decision to go with Omar and MB Fence."

"Oscar came all the way from the valley to pacific palisades in the rain, which took a long time. Our handyman had put up a temporary fence topper. Oscar gave us excellent advice about how to fix this fence topper, which he didn't have to do if we were just trying to sell us something. If this doesn't work out, we will definitely contact Oscar again."

"I have a small dog, age 15, now blind and deaf, who fell into the deep end of the pool at dusk a few months ago-- luckily, I was close by and scooped her out, but realized that she was at risk as much as any child. I subsequently went outside with her EVERY SINGLE time she had to go out, be it the middle of the night, early morning hours, wind, rain, etc. After a couple months of this routine, I knew I had to fix this situation.I had installed a mesh fence 25 years ago when the grandkids came back home to live, but we subsequently removed it after they grew up and moved away....being in retirement years, it didn't seem necessary to have it fenced off until this recent fateful night that my little poodle fell in. Blind animals are horribly at risk, and since our dogs ARE our children nowadays, we decided to protect them as such.
I called Guardian's office, and a quick appointment was scheduled. Jim came out and measured, brought me several samples, and explained the pros and cons of the different color of mesh, canvas color choices, size of poles, whether to make it free-standing or drill holes, etc. He measured, then gave me a written estimate. I told him I would mull it over and then call them to let them know if I was going to go ahead with it. He went to leave, and I had this sudden "come-to-Jesus" moment and realized that he was a straight-shooter and that this company, and the way he represented it and himself, was as good as it gets. I ran out after him, caught him getting ready to pull out of my driveway, and told him to schedule it -- I didn't bother to get other estimates...I remember we had paid a few hundred dollars less back in early 1990 or thereabouts, and Guardian's price wasn't at all out of line, considering the # of years since I first contracted for a fence.
He scheduled me for installation one week later -- the installer was so neat, precise -- everything was done with care, and absolutely nothing was left behind or out of place. We talked about where to install the gate that I ordered with the fence, and other than that, it was installed perfectly and without any issues.
Bottom line? Absolutely A++ in my book!!! I hope that I can personally refer some business towards them -- they really made this an easy homeowner upgrade.

"

"We needed about 95' of fencing and were sharing the cost with our neighbors. We'd obtained four other bids before signing up with Angie's List. Karen quickly scheduled our appointment, was on time and professional. She was knowledgeable about the quality of her product and fencing in general. She was willing to return for a second visit (on a Holiday weekend) to provide more information re matching fence colors with house color. Their bid was extremely fair--even after we decided on a fancy top for the two shared gates. Also important to us was their honesty--no hidden fees. We had to be out of town when they came to install the fencing and gates. We left our check with our neighbor and Good Neighbors was willing to work with us. We needed the fencing ASAP because our neighbor has a swimming pool and our yard is a corner yard, which made the openness of the pool very visible. We are pleased with the product and the experience of working with them and highly recommend Good Neighbor Fencing.
"

"I can see why they have such great reviews. They are a great company and have literally thought out every problem that could happen in advance and took care of it. The fence looks great. The only feedback I would provide them is that they should be more flexible with their estimate days/times as its tough to make a Monday through Friday business hour time work. They're busy, so I had trouble getting an estimate day/time that worked with my busy schedule. I was patient and it paid off. :)
"
