"Very well. This was a big job. Rick was the only contractor we spoke to that could both suitably restore metal surfaces prior to painting them and also offer a warranty on his labor and materials. He even offered to re-stain a three-story wooden partition for us at no extra cost. The project took five weeks to complete (quite a bit longer than originally estimated, delayed due to unusually rainy weather), but Rick was in touch each day to let us know if the forecast allowed for work to be performed. "Kenny Whitelaw is the owner. My wife was happy with him and he was fine. The work done by The Renaissance Handyman does look a lot better. They did a nice job on that. The stucco work that they did was fine. If the price was way too much, we wouldn’t have done the job. I think the price was probably fair. It was pretty personal since we were dealing with the owner. We had no complaints. I am not the right guy to talk about the price since I always think everything is too expensive. You get what you pay for, but you never get more than you pay for. However, we didn’t get less than what we paid for. I don’t really know what we paid. I think my wife called a few places and they were available. It wasn’t a major job. They were really responsive. That’s probably how we got to them. We would consider using their services again, but we have kind of developed a relationship with a local outfit here. Kenny is not very close to where we live and I think he is in one of the suburbs."
