"He called to let me know he was on his way. He made sure he was clear about what I wanted done and what my expectations were for the work to be done. He cleaned up after each project, he was pleasant, respectful and appeared knowledgeable. All projects were completed to my satisfaction. It was a very good experience"

"Luis completed one project and we were so happy with his work we set up a second job for the following week. Luis kept us informed throughout the projects. He was mindful of our time, cleaned up after the job and if you didn't know he had just installed four recessed lights you wouldn't know he had been in our home. We will definitely recommend him to others. Job well done."

"Joshua cleaned our dryer vents. I have more work for him to do and I will certainly have him come back. He is very professional, extremely courteous and a friendly nature about him. He will certainly be my go-to handyman in the future because my husband is extremely sick and unable to perform these tasks."

"Al and his team have been fantastic in both service and workmanship. We needed a shower replaced in our rental home. He not only provided a number of options, but recommended ways to save money as well. The work project itself, Al made sure if there were any concerns we had, he addressed it promptly. We plan to use C&H for a number of other smaller handyman projects we need done both immediately and any others in the future."

"Dave is very responsive and and very knowledgeable. He fixed my closet door and I have hired him to do a lot more work for me. I know he is good because he definitely keeps busy with multiple repair jobs. If you want something done go to the busy person. They find way to make it happen."

"Oscar and his team took care of several miscellaneous repairs needed per the home inspection report for my recent condo purchase and helped me make the home more functional. Kaulked showers and sinks, installed a new faucet and a GFCI on the patio, corrected some moisture in the shower area and reversed door directions on a small bath & closet area. He responded quickly, had great communication throughout and kept the areas clean/tidy while working. Look forward to working with him on our next project - highly recommended!!"

FAQs for handyman service projects in La Jolla, CA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
