"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – Honest, Skilled, and Solution-Oriented! After calling three different electricians who all told me the same thing — that they’d need to cut into two ceilings and it would cost me thousands — I was ready to give up. Thankfully, I found this electrician, and he was an absolute game-changer. He was the fourth and final person I called, and I’m so glad I did. Not only did he take the time to really assess the situation, but he found a creative and efficient solution that no one else had even mentioned. He snaked the wire through a vent — no ceiling cuts needed — and even went above and beyond by putting my washer and dryer on their own breaker. He fixed the electrical issue in my kitchen quickly and professionally (2 hours diagnosing on a Friday and 5 hours of work on a Sunday), all for a fraction of what others were quoting me. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing right by his clients and finding solutions that work for you, not just what's easiest."

"Christian was dispatched in evening after 9am as we had 2 circuit breakers trip on a brand new panel in stalled by TESLA. Christian told us it was serious and he would do a temp fix return next day to replace breakers and that it was necessary as it could create serious problem. Next day he returned, replaced 8 circuit breakers. The night he was out for emergency I did not sign a bid or contract and he hit my c/card for $2200. Monday the 23rd I had a new electrician come out; he found the problem to be a outside light fixture tripped the breakers and had water and a broken wire. The total cost of the ACTUAL REAL REPAIR was $249. Now COMPLAINT # SF2025013707 is filed with the CSLB and tomorrow I am filing a complaint with the D.A. for elder abuse and fraud as there was no damage and no serious issue. A light fixture had a broken wire and water and I got screwed for $2200. THANKS CHRISTIAN. Your name should be changed to SATAN. ROGERS ROAD"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in La Mesa, CA

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
