"DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. 7 years ago they installed metal roofing on our new construction made with SIPS. Our contractor provided manufacturer installation instructions. Early work began fine and their process was signed off by our contractor. Then multiple crews came through, who apparently did not get the message. A metal roof on top of SIPS SHOULD HAVE LASTED 50 YEARS. NOW we're having to replace our roof at a greater cost than out-of-state college tuition. The new roofers are having to scrape rotted OSB from the foam insulation, completely negating the SIPS warranty and littering the neighborhood with the rotten debris. The analysis is that Forever Roofing (1) installed the Tiger Paw sheeting incorrectly and (2) did not bend the top of the metal panels up under the roof peak, both of which allowed water to enter. FURTHERMORE, after letting water in, they blocked off any egress at the bottom of the roof with wood blocks between the staves. Eventually water sat in there for years until the soffits started popping off. One of the Forever Roofing managers came by to take a look at the damage and essentially washed his hands of the business - no integrity for workmanship. RUN AWAY - "Forever" is an utter misnomer."

"It is hard to believe that it has been almost three years since Northern Pacific Exteriors completed our full house siding project. I’d like to offer a long-term review now that we’ve had a few years to live with the results. It is hard to believe, but I think I’m even happier with the quality of the work now than I was when they wrapped up the job. The house looks as good as it did when they pulled out of the driveway for the last time. I literally have nothing that doesn’t look right about the job after three years of living with it. The work still looks new. Northern Pacific Exteriors is the contractor we all hope we find, especially for big-ticket projects that require highly skilled crews. Superb attention to detail. Every promise was kept. Easy to work with. Fair pricing. Kept to the schedule and showed up with a full crew everyday. Left the job site clean. Honest, fair, and straightforward in every way - no games just superior results. I just cannot recommend them too highly. If you need to have work done, care about quality workmanship and want the peace of mind that comes from dealing with real professionals, these are the folks for your job."

"Guardian advertises a "Gentle Wash" roof cleaning/moss removal process. Nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, they use an industrial strength air compressor and hire inexperienced, poorly trained, incompetent non-English speaking employees to perform this work. The result: While under a three (3) year contract, Guardian has destroyed my GAF 50 year guaranteed roof by shredding and removing the protective granules down to the asphalt itself. The damage is so extensive and widespread, it cannot be repaired. My roof needs to be entirely replaced at a cost of ~ $35K to $40K for a like kind of material. Guardian has attempted to mitigate the damage by inserting a new thin starter row shingle to "Hide" (not replace) the damage shingles around the entire perimeter of my home. This is an unacceptable remedy. I am awaiting for Guardian's attorney to respond to my request for compensation. Complaints also filed with BBB and the C of C."

"As the GC for my own full home renovation, I was looking for a turn-key company that I could outsource and trust to handle the exterior work for my house (new house wrap, siding, and window/door installation). I was really optimistic about this company because they were a Hardie-certified installer. I hired them to install about 30 top-of-the-line Andersen windows, several exterior doors, and install all new Hardie siding and trim. Unfortunately things went south on day 1 and continued to spiral out of control. In a nutshell, I had three different project managers assigned to me throughout the project, and neither of them came on site once the project started (until the very end, and the last project manager was awesome... kuddos to him!). The first crew that came on board were subcontractors, not Evergreen employees. When they started to install my windows, I knew immediately that they did not know how to properly flash a window sill (they had gaps in the Vycor flashing, didn't wrap the sill properly, etc. etc.). I called this to the PM's attention but nothing was done. The crew installed all windows in one day, not properly flashed. Crew was retrained and came back to "fix" them, but still didn't properly flash them. Meanwhile, they were taping the seams on our house wrap in the rain, when the house wrap was wet, so nothing stuck and had to be redone. Fortunately this crew was let go and I was told they were going to bring their "in-house" crew to finish. The next crew was awesome and they ended up removing all windows and reinstalling them. In total, each window was installed three times! As a result, some of the nail flanges and seals were broken. I called this out to the PM and owner of the company but did not get a response. From this point on, the crew that stayed on did a good job and was pleasant to work with (but I found out they were also subcontractors, not "in-house" employees as I was told up front). The delivery of a few windows and doors were delayed by about three months, which was my responsibility. I told all project managers about this upfront, including the first project manager before the project started. He said it was okay and that we could start the project and hold back a specific percentage amount of the project payment until they arrived so they could return to complete it at a later time. He and I agreed and the project moved forward. When the owner of the company, Jon Jordan, found out about the window/door delays, he was irate. His brother/GM and PM (who were both very polite and professional) called me and tried to negotiate a higher partial payment percentage rate which was absolutely frustrating to me. I explained to them that I had suffered for months through the project with extreme errors and redos, which caused mental angst, and that we had already agreed on a percentage on day one. Nonetheless, I was willing to increase the partial payment a little bit just to wrap things up. The owner followed up that evening by texting me in an aggressive, threatening tone. He said my only options were to allow them to finish the project immediately (which was impossible because we didn't have the remaining windows or doors), or pay them in full immediately and they would return after the doors/windows arrived a few months later. Otherwise he would sue me and put a lien on my home. He and I hadn't even spoken prior to that, and it was shocking to get such an aggressive text from a guy who never even heard my side of the story… I proposed to the owner that we cease the contract immediately, and that I would pay them for all work completed at that point. We agreed on how much work was remaining, and removed that amount from the contract price. We cancelled the contract, he had his remaining materials picked up and that was that. Again, I was hopeful for this company and wanted to have a great experience, but due to the poor project management experience, inexperienced subcontractors who caused damage and significant delays, and a sue-happy, angry owner who lacked professionalism and compassion, I could never re-consider hiring, let alone recommend, this company for any type of contracting work."

"I’m not quite sure what is taking so long to get any updates from this company. I’ve been waiting for an update on the siding being painted, touch ups they missed to be fixed, have their interior team fix the walls their crew punched nails through the wall, broke the frame of our kitchen window, and pick up the materials that have been blocking our driveway since the start of the project. It took them three weeks from the initial pick up date I was given for their team to pick up and confirm that the honey bucket had been taken from our property. Of course I had to call them to follow up and actually get it picked up. All of this to basically summarize that if you want your siding done in a timely manner and to work with a cohesive team that values communication and their customers as much as theirs salesman Brad told us they do, then find another company aside from Pacific Exteriors."

They came out and did a thorough evaluation, listened to what we said we wanted (product and installation specifics) and then delivered a detailed quote that noted all those details. Destiny is super friendly and personable. She quickly got answers to any and all questions and was always easily reachable. Destiny contacted us a few days before they scheduled our work to make sure we were OK with the timing. On the day the project started, the crew showed up exactly when she said they would and got set up for work. The crew was coordinated and very professional. They had the old roof stripped off before lunch and began the installation soon thereafter. In total, they completely re-roofed our 2500 sf house in a day and a half. They literally were sweeping up the last of the bits and pieces (including running and re-running their magnet everywhere) by 11:30 AM on day two. We couldn't be happier."

Communication was great all the way through, I really liked the text message updates. The crews were very polite, a pleasure to have around, I mean they all really were great! As a contractor in a previous life, I seem to pick things apart, or so I'm told, I tried but there really was nothing to pick apart.
