When looking into the ventilation for the dryer, the workers discovered that work completed years ago by another contractor was done improperly. Bathroom vents were not vented to the outside and were instead vented directly into the space above the ceiling. "He did excellent work on the double-sash wide window sill.  It matches the rest of the window frame perfectly.  He refinished the sill over 4 daily trips.  1st, to sand and prepare.  2nd, to stain, 3rd to put on 1st coat of urethane sealer, and last day to put on second coat of sealer.   He was always on time.  He was cheerful and efficient with his time.  And, he cleaned his work area each day.  "

"Had good service in the past but this last visit wasn't so hot. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned all windows and screens on Friday 7/10. They left three screens on the front of our house lying on the roof and I found a couple of their dirty rags in the yard. They performed the service at the end of the week so the screens were lying up there all weekend. My wife called them on Tuesday 7/14 to have them come back out to put the screens back on. My wife was told they would check to see what guys were closest to our house and then she would send them over in the afternoon to put the screens back on, but they were a no show. I called them Wed 7/15 and they told me that my wife had it wrong and that they told her they would be out on Thursday 7/16. Even if that was the case how is that acceptable? If we have a storm our screens could get damaged or fly off and hit someone. looks like we will be waiting almost a week from the time of their mistake to get this resolved. <br />"

"We initially contacted Bruce Sullivan for a quote on our cedar shake roof that had not had any maintenance done at any point during its lifetime (20 years). We were considering purchasing the home and by the looks of the condition of the roof, it appeared as though we would probably need to replace it. Bruce went right out to take a look and gave us the quote within just a day or two- he indicated that on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst condition), our roof was a 9.5 but that with a good cleaning, he could make it beautiful and definitely extend it's lifetime for many more years (it hadn't been leaking, just looked really bad). The estimate included a set rate for both cleaning and shingle replacement. We did a lot of research on the process and found Bruce to be the most skilled and credible. He took the time to explain everything to us and answer any questions we had. <br /> Bruce and his counterpart, Neil Krans, cleaned and repaired shingles over the course of two days. They were on time, courteous, and friendly. They cleaned up all the moss, etc. that had been removed from the roof after the job was completed. Ultimately, they did an absolutely fabulous job on the roof; it looks nearly brand new! We are so pleased that we went with Sullivan Roof Cleaning and feel it was worth every penny. Both Bruce and Neil possess a rare quality in that they take great pride in their work and dedicate themselves to doing the best job possible (as long as it takes). <br />"
