The project was completed professionally and looks great. The professionalism starts with the very comprehensive detailed bid package. We interviewed several contractors and received bid packages which were illegible, not very specific and didn’t do the amount of work Corban was going to do. Paul’s sale was not high pressure, but just very matter of fact – “here’s what we’re going to do and here’s the cost.” The slowest part of the project was getting through the design drawing and then permitting. Once that portion was completed and subs started getting on site then things moved much better. (Note, when you are considering a project make sure you take into account major holidays where workers have time off. This is not unique to Corban, but is a consideration when dealing with any tradesmen. ) Paul did a wonderful job of communicating the time line on the project and what was going to happen daily through the process. We knew what was going to happen in the week and if changes occurred he promptly updated the work schedule. Whenever work was underway he would stop by sometime during the work to observe and answer questions. His subs were professional as well. If issues surfaced or work was not satisfactorily completed, Paul made sure it was completed satisfactorily. In total, this was a remodeling project which went very well and looks absolutely spectacular."
