"This company is outstanding. Their attention to detail is the Gold Standard. I say this especially at this time when contractors are swamped. They make you feel like your project tis the only one that they are doing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

"Brian of Grout Pro is a very friendly and professional guy. He came on time, worked all day, and replaced grout and caulking in our shower, bathroom sink and kitchen counters. The work is beautifully done and we’re very happy with it. He gave us a reasonable estimate up front, but found that quite a bit more additional work needed to be done to get the job done right. There was no question or problem about that and he didn’t charge us a penny more. We highly recommend Brian for any tile grout or caulking work that you need done."

" Customer service: Excellent. Trust Ed to help you pick the right carpet and also find a special one. Capet for bedroom: excellent, fast, efficient take away of old, effective movement of furniture, and installation was perfect. Separate carpet for living room: Ed found the perfect brick red, and the twins installed a perfectly bound rug, moved and replaced furniture, left a bound runner for the kitchens. Outstanding. (Our second job -- our first years ago was new flooring in hall, living room, kitchen and dining room -- great job, that's why we went to Macadam again --can't go wrong)"

"Sergey does great work. This is the second time we have use him. This project consisted of tiling two bath surrounds, one walk-in shower three bathroom floors, kitchen, entry and laundry floors and kitchen backsplash. Sergey is punctual, has great attention to detail, prices his work fairly and is easy to get along with. We will definitely use him for any future remodel work and suggest you do the same."

"We engaged Treadline to complete a major flooring upgrade and expansion project in our home as part of a much larger home renovation project. We directly managed Treadline for the flooring project as well as 10 other contractors that worked on the other renovation projects in our home. We were very happy with the other contractors we engaged for our home renovation project. Their quality of work and professionalism has been amazing and we posted reviews to share our experiences with their businesses as well. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience and outcome with Treadline. Our experience with Treadline follows as experienced from our point of view. At the beginning of the flooring project with Treadline – we discussed the possibility to increase their project scope to also remove and update a half bathroom in our home. We received a written quote for the initial bathroom removal from Treadline’s via their DocuSign process. After reviewing this quote – we decided to not move forward with this additional project. We did not approve Treadline’s DocuSign quote and we also further communicated via email that we did not want to remove this bathroom. However, upon arriving home later that day, we discovered that Treadline had removed the half bathroom without our approval. Treadline’s response was that this was a “misunderstanding” and that this removal was at “no charge”. We were clearly not happy at that time and we decided to focus on the success of the rest of the project with Treadline. We later surfaced this issue again and Treadline’s response was that we had “orally” approved this change over the phone (Treadline’s own contract language explicitly states that change orders can only be approved in written form and not orally) and that they were under time pressure that day and made a decision to remove the bathroom anyway. We were left without a bathroom for months while we tried to work with Treadline to arrive at a fair outcome to restore the bathroom to its original condition. To date – Treadline has not paid any amount for the restoration of our bathroom to its original condition and this resulted in a significant cost to us to restore this bathroom. Our second major issue with Treadline occurred towards the end of the flooring project once the floors had been stained and finished. Upon project inspection – we discovered flooring stain marks all over the walls and trim work in the each of the rooms that Treadline had worked in. Stain marks were often at heights over 3-4 feet high. We had expected some baseboard staining (as described in Treadline’s contract) but we were shocked to discover so many stains above the baseboard in each room. Treadline’s only response was that the stain could be washed off. Their employee tried to wash off some of the stain marks and this only made matters worse in spreading flooring stain all over the wall where attempted. We tried to work with Treadline to arrive at a fair outcome to address the significant paint damage to the walls and door trim in our home. To date – Treadline has not paid any amount to address the paint damage to our walls and trim work and this resulted in a very significant cost to us address this damage. Thankfully, we were able to successfully file and settle a claim with Treadline’s business liability insurance provider to address the paint damage to our home. The last major issue with Treadline surfaced about a month after the completion of the flooring project. At our request, Treadline added new hardwood flooring to the upstairs hallway in our home and this looked fine for the first 4-5 weeks after the installation was complete. However, the flooring boards soon began to separate throughout the new installation and we could see very significant gaps beneath the new flooring - often to the subflooring below. We tried to work with Treadline to arrive at a fair outcome to address the issues with the new hardwood flooring they had installed in our home. As part of this process, we engaged an expert with National Wood Flooring Association ([*** Link removed ***] to evaluate and assess the flooring installation. The expert provided their written professional finding that the new hardwood flooring had not been appropriately acclimated to the environment in our home prior to installation and the flooring had also not been nailed in correctly. To date – Treadline has not paid any amount to address the flooring installation issues and this resulted in a very significant cost to us to remove and replace the affected flooring areas in our home. We pursued the above issues over the past 18 months with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB); multiple mediation attempts and legal filing with the Washington County courts. We accepted a partial insurance settlement for paint damages only (insurance covers damage only and not quality of work) from Treadline’s business liability insurance provider. We also decided to forego further legal action given the increasing legal expense and continued negative impacts to our family and home life. We have not received any monies from Treadline to reimburse us for the cost to remediate the damage to our home or to address the quality of their workmanship."

"On the day of the installation, we asked the workers to wear a mask. The workers refused to do the install citing issues of wearing a mask while working. We assured them we were no risk, but we still had to reschedule the installation. A huge inconvenience for our family. The quality of the work was good, I also felt the pricing was fair and wish I could offer a more positive experience. The install was completed the next week. For the installation the workers did wear masks at that appointment."
