I have had no clogged gutters & the wind blows off the leaves. I had 3 estimates for the job. His reviews were excellent & I felt his gutter guard was very good & he came in with the lowest bid. I recommended Geno to a friend, who also was pleased with his work. I will certainly recommend him to others & will use him in the future if I need additional roofing or siding repairs."

"We unexpectedly needed our roof replaced. We got several quotes, and Porter Family's price was very competitive. They also were able to complete the replacement on a tight schedule (for which we are so grateful!) and in the color we wanted, despite limited productions due to the pandemic. We have a multi-level, steep Tudor roof, and they had to remove old shingles and cedar shakes, so I know this was a complex project, and they did a great job. They were also great about communicating with us throughout the project. I also appreciated that they took care to carefully clean the yard and driveway as we have pets and young children. "Very happy with our complete roof replacement. Everyone seemed knowledgeable from our sales pitch (shout out to Travis, who was awesome) to the installation. They found 2 areas of wetness and replaced the wood. They worked through some tough spots to put shingles down. The guys who replaced the roof worked a lot of hours on a complex roof. Great job!!"

"So-so experience. Job was bid and performed in the depths of the recession - I think he priced it so low that he needed to cut corners. Plus: did job quickly, when scheduled. Old roof was removed with only medium amount of mess. New roof went on OK. He did an OK job installing a skylight in the new roof. Minus: He reused the old gutters, which I would not recommend anyone else do - they were pretty battered by the time they had been removed and replaced. Some of them still don't drain right. Here's the worst part: on the last day, one of his guys fell off the roof. My wife was in the dining room and saw him bounce off our back stairs and land on the grass. Fortunately, he didn't seem to be badly hurt, as he ultimately landed on boggy grass. However, Scheinfeld, when told about this, took more than an hour to show up, and the injured worker called us a few days later asking for our homeowner's policy info, thinking that we would be paying for his medical care - can you believe it? I run a small business and am very familiar with the concept of Workmen's Comp - no telling what was going on between Scheinfeld and his workers, but something seemed to be very, very wrong. A couple of our gutters still don't drain right, despite several calls to have them adjusted. But the roof no longer leaks."

"We needed a roof replacement on our aging roof, so I had 4x different companies come by to do an estimate. Chris Rahill came out from Mighty Dog roofing. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and knowledgeable he was - he was able to answer every question that came up easily. Communication was top notch - very fast responses to calls/texts. He climbed on the roof and used a drone to evaluate the property. At this point, we discussed options. We were especially interested in Owens Corning shingles - they seemingly have a great warranty. Now at this point, I had four companies to decide between. What made me go with Mighty Dog was the following: they were a "Platinum Preferred Contractor" for Owen's Corning (be sure to make sure your roofer is certified in your roof system as they are held to the manufacturer's standards and can honor your warranty), the communication was top notch, the quote was easy to understand, he felt trustworthy, the price was fair, and seemed to know what he was doing. I had initial reservations with going with this company as they didn't have as many online reviews as competitors - don't let this scare you away. His workers showed up on time as scheduled and worked their butts off all day to remove my old roof (2x layers of shingles) and install a beautiful new one (all were very professional and friendly as well). Their cleanup was so good, you could barely tell anything was done (other than a beautiful new roof. I was extremely impressed all around. Would recommend."
