There were supply chain shortages during the pandemic of a part that I needed for my electrical panel upgrade. Ray made sure to keep in touch and provide regular status updates of my job. "After doing some research, I had a preliminary view of what needed to be done and the cost of the material for the work. Then, I contacted 5 electricians to get written estimates for the work. Four of the electricians quoted a price that was more expensive than Glenn. One electrician suggested replacing my current 200 AMP, 30-circuit electrical panel that was maxed out at 38 circuits, with a 40-circuit panel thereby only gaining 2 additional slots. Another electrician suggested instead installing a 100 AMP, 20-circuit sub-panel, which was the correct recommendation, per my research. Glenn also suggested this approach, so I immediately knew that I was dealing with a straight shooter. While price was an important part of the decision making process for selecting an electrician, price was not the only reason I decided to go with Glenn. Of course, he had outstanding reviews on Angle’s list (A ratings only), but of all of the electricians, he was the MOST thorough and MOST detailed at exploring what needed to be done and he explained everything step by step ... he also asked a lot of questions and analyzed my current electrical setup before making a recommendation. He provided a very comprehensive recommendation with 3 different options for me to choose from that provided an efficient sub- panel set up that was also cost efficient, but all 3 recommendations solved my problem. I decided to go with a 100 AMP 20 circuit sub-panel that will provide me with plenty room to expand in the future. Glenn completed all work in 2 days and I was extremely pleased with the job he did. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable regarding his trade, he is also very professional, quite personable; a very nice person. It was a pleasure to work with him and as I told him after the job was completed, he will be "my electrician guy" going forward. I "highly" recommend Glenn ... simply put, he is OUTSTANDING!!"

They replaced the knob and tube wiring in my house as well as other updates like adding overhead lights, outlets, smoke detectors, etc, basically everything to make the electric system and lighting in my house modern and safe. They were very thorough, efficient, and professional! Bill H. did the estimate. He explained things clearly and was very patient with a new homeowner with a lot of questions, The company was very easy to work with. Both Bill and John were very quick to respond by phone and email, and Bill called with regular updates as they were working on the house, and did several thorough walkthroughs to show me the progress. They even finished a day early and left everything very clean and well-patched! It was an expensive project, but they gave me the best price; because it was a big project, they offered much better prices on installing the lights, outlets, etc, than other companies I talked to (I got quotes from three companies). "John was responsive and quick to set a meeting for an estimate. he honored the Angie's List deal for a panel upgrade plus a slight upcharge for going from a 100 amp to 200 amp panel. He also inspected an outlet I was having issue with. This original work was done on 5/27/2016. Unfortunately, when the cold weather came and I turned on my electric heat, it didn't work. I called John and he quickly made an appointment for one of his electricians to come out and check the heat on 11/14/2016. Adam and another gentlemen came out and assessed the issue and was able to get the heat back on as the heat was hooked up to another area in the attic of the house, Adam was also able to trace the outlet I had issue with, put a blank cover on the outlet and ensured the wiring was tied off and not an issue. They took there time and found out the issue and corrected it quickly. They also didn't charge me for the second visit. Honest and professional. Do not hesitate to contact John and his guys!"

This required a rental trencher and some difficult hand digging. The work was done in one day by Hank and Chris. They are able technicians and they did an excellent job. On the day of the scheduled work, Evan arrived promptly, did a great job with the work, and answered all of my questions. Evan had also been out previously to give the quote for the work and was very thorough in his inspection and explained the reasons for all of his recommendations. Previous owners of my house had hired contractors that did some shoddy work. While Gen3 is not the cheapest quote you will find, they do their work properly and to code.
