"We hired John to build a pre-cut 8'x14' shed from Costco on our property. He and his associate dug and built a new base, constructed the shed (which was BEAR of a project) roofed it, painted it, and built a custom ramp for the shed. Throughout the entire project John was communicative, transparent, professional, timely and did a stellar job throughout the entire project. We are beyond satisfied with the results. "M&E Construction (general contractor and owner Marc) was horrible in every way from the very start. EVERY step of the project was screwed up by either Marc or his subcontractors. There is not enough room in this text box to describe the multitude of problems I had. The cost was exorbitant for what they did, the errors started from the very beginning with the ARCHITECT, deadlines were not met and extended way past the time I was told it would be done, to name just a few of the problems. I could go on and on and on. My next grievance is with Angi's List. Don't you vet these people? This guy is a con artist and a scammer/grifter. I would appreciate a call from someone in management (not just a customer service rep) to discuss the nightmare this project has been. The only reason I gave a 1-star rating is because I couldn't leave no stars or actually negative stars. I am HUGELY disappointed in Angi's List for doing business with this man. "

"Ron and his crew took twice as long as quoted on my project which was a simple shower installation. When they said they were done, I found multiple mistakes. They used wood screws to secure a shower door frame and failed to caulk any of the joints. They also left a ton of damage to my walls that I had to call them back to repair and repaint. To aid with entry to my building, I loaned them a set of spare keys, which they forgot to bring and had to return on a separate trip. After I submitted the final payment, I found that they neglected to secure the button sill of the shower door at all and it simply slid out of place. I sent Ron a message asking for a return of my payment and he has been silent. Amateur work, no attention to detail, carelessness. Don't hire these guys for your project, hire professionals"
