"Principal representative of Marlin James, Inc,  responded promptly to my call  to perform assessment and quote price  for replacement home air conditioning units. Made all measurements and  took photos of existing units and duct work in attic. Explained different features, per my request, of Lennox line of condensors and air handlers, and emailed brochures with quotes for different models. I elected to install two condensors and two air handlers. At  promised date a large crew of installers arrived to demolish old equipment, install new units, rebuild plenums, and upgrade some of the duct work. A promise of service at end of day was made and met. <br /> The installers did all mechanical and elecrical work. A supervisor stopped by to check on work and progress. The installers were highly professional and answered any questions I posed during the whole process. All holes in interior and exterior walls were patched and painted. Final cleanup was thorough even though they worked into the evening and the tasks undertaken under hot and grueling conditions. Final cost was slightly pricey but well worth the whole experience. I would highly recommend Marlin James, Inc. to relatives and friends. <br />"

"After reading the positive Angies List reviews and following a good on-site interview we hired Greg and Nancy of Lovett Enterprises to paint the interior and garage of our 2200 sq. ft 27-year-old house. From start to finish the work was performed beyond what we were expecting both in quality and convenience. Greg and Nancy did all the work themselves with one helper, Rick, who was also a master painter. We were worried that there might be issues with all the furnishings and other items that were in the rooms but there were none. "Jeff really is AWESOME! He has done a lot of work for me over the last 18 mos. and will be doing more, because he is always on time, exceeds expectations and his fees are always reasonable. Most importantly, Jeff really does treat your home like his own. And while he is a first-rate painter, what impressed me most was his ability to turn his hand to just about anything and do it extremely well. So, I did not need to hire a lot of different pros to get projects from start to finish. Jeff did a beautiful job patching drywall and painting the interiors of 2 homes for me--one of which sold in 3 days for the asking price, the other I live in now. He matched the exterior paint on the chimney of my new home to cover the seller’s sloppy stucco patch job and did it so well the patch itself is hardly noticeable. He’s installed 4 new ceiling fans and moved 2 others for me. Plus, he has replaced a dining room pendant light, an 8-lamp bathroom vanity light and 2 garage wall lanterns. Also, Jeff patched a hole in the side of the concrete foundation and did such a great job, it’s unnoticeable, and so tight it stopped tiny ants from coming in. He also repaired several interior and exterior doors and replaced all but the frame of a damaged attic ladder by himself (Not an easy job). Jeff is amiable and honest and when he couldn’t do a job, he said so. Then he went out of his way to find someone who could, for a great price. Can’t ask for more than that."

"They sent out a person to examine the area, took photos, and said he would present an estimate, which he did. Then we set up a date for the repairs to be done. The worker arrived on time, and began by taking off all the bad and damaged roofing materials. He had to repair all the way up to the peak, which was not done by someone else with the first repair. He removed the turbine vent that has been installed improperly, replaced it with a flat-line vent, and replaced some metal flashing that was not sealed down. He continued to work on the roof until it was all done correctly. Even when it was almost dark, he wanted to finish it in one day. He cleaned everything up in the yard and did a very fine job. The bill was sent to us a few days later, exactly what was estimated. We used the Angie's List coupon which helped save a few more dollars. They were very professional, caring and considerate of our time and our home. I would definitely recommend this company."
