JS did not charge extra for the premium product either. 10 estimates: John Scott was the lowest, the second closest came in $600 more. "It went well except for being delayed 3 weeks. I had to do all the checking on status of the install - no proactive communication. Communication in general was about average. I wasn’t real happy with putting 40% down and waiting 2 months for the work to be done but not a deal killer. I’m very happy with the the value and quality of the installed roof. They removed the old roof, replaced some damaged decking, installed a full covering of ice and water shield and a well warrantied shingle system that looks great. I would recommend to anyone."
