"We called Eric and he came to give us an estimate the same day.  We needed this job done within a few day's notice and also needed it complete within a week.  Eric said they could do it.  To ask this of a contractor is pretty crazy but he agreed to take on the job. <br /> <br />Eric and his guys came in a few days later and started up.  They removed the wall, moved the electric, installed a supporting beam to form an arch nearly the entire length of the rooms and covered it all in drywall.  They removed the door in one of the rooms and sheetrocked over it.  They ripped up three rooms and a hallway (including three closets) worth of carpet and installed 450 sq feet of laminate flooring and 1/4 round trim throughout.  They matched up the baseboards and installed it where it was needed.   <br /> <br />They ran into some electrical issues along the way and got their Electrician in to fix them.  Eric and his guys even took care of a couple things not on our list and made sure everything was done perfectly. <br /> <br />They took an extra day to finish it all up but considering the short notice we gave them and the excellent quality of the end result, there's no way we're complaining. <br /> <br />Everything looks amazing.  You would swear the flooring came installed with the house and that those two rooms were always one big one from the start.  Their attention to detail is great.  Also, they're just really good guys.  They're friendly, they offer good advice and solutions to problems that aren't part of their job, and they conduct themselves like professionals. <br /> <br />Eric kept us informed of their progress all the way through and always called with questions or if anything unplanned came up. <br /> <br />We wouldn't hesitate to call them again in a heartbeat.  As long as Able Hands is in business, they'll be our first and only call for projects like this. <br /> <br />We found them here on Angie's List but us being dummies, we forgot to mention the 10% coupon.  That was our fault, though and has nothing to do with these guys. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The project consisted of a full bathtub replacement, shower wall tiling, floor tiling, light/fan installation, and some wall damage repairs. Since we had him here for tiling the bathroom we also had a mud area to the back deck tiled as well. John was great from start to finish. He was very responsive when we contacted him. He was up front and straight forward when we hit snags in the project and I always felt that he had our best interest at heart and was willing to do what was needed to make us feel happy and good about our choice to have him do the work. When the tub was removed, he found some mold and water damage in the wall behind the tub and the floor. He was able to roll with the punches and include replacing the floor for us without serious timeline or budget setbacks. All in all John was great to work with and we're very happy with the results and highly recommend him."
