"I am very pleased with the work done by Hic builders. Our initial contact was Josef. He came out and gave us a fair price to replace a wood fence, patio cover, and deck. Materials were sourced and brought in without delay despite supply shortages. My dad is a civil engineer and he noted the wood to be of good quality. He and his workers showed up daily, on-time until the project was completed. Every day the work area was left tidy and cleaned up. We live in a townhome. The only access to the backyard is through the front door and living area. His team covered our furniture and flooring. We will definitely call on Hic Builders in the future and recommend others to do the same."

"Darren initially came out and drew up some beautiful plans for my backyard free of charge. I had to hold off on any projects for awhile afterwards but was inspired to call him back 6 mos later as I was impressed with his awesome reviews as well as his low key sales pitch. He replaced my brick patio recently and did a great job.........loved his creative design and the fact he himself worked on the job site daily! "My husband and I decided we wanted to remodel our Master Bathroom. We searched angies list, found 3 contractors, one of which was New Age Construction and Remodeling. All three were good, but what stood out about New Age Construction was that Ishai, the owner, supervised the work himself, as promised. He made his daily stops to make sure he can assist us if we had any questions or concerns. The other contractors were salespeople representing the company. Lastly, what my husband and I realized was that all the workers knew each other, the plumber knew the electrician, and the tile guys and so on, and it felt like one big family. That made us feel very comfortable. Overall we are VERY please with the work and would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to get work done in their home."

"Garry called me and requested to come over to see the scope of the work. He showed up right on time for the appointment and after I showed him the broken pocket door and explaining that I wanted all the hardware to be replaced including the top track. He wanted to make sure about the quality of the top track I like him to buy, so gave him my specification that is to get an aluminium track and 3 wheel rollers, I was tired of spending money to repair every year. He called me the night before to make sure I will be home. He showed up on time to start the work. I told him here you are, I will be in my home office, when done just call me. So, took a little longer that I expected it, because of wall sheathing being plaster board, but when he called me and went to see the completed project, to my surprise, he had completed the job and just about ready to paint the access opening of the wall - which you need to open to replace the track. He charged me exactly what we verbally agreed and I was very happy that after so many years of search and work with so many handyman, I finally found a professional and honest person who respected the verbal contract and did not charge me more for the extra unexpected site issues. Garry has very good communication skills and keeps you updated with the schedules and appointments via cell phone. I will recommend him to anyone for a small or medium projects. All I can say "what a guy.""
