He worked closely with my home insurance inspectors and the resulting report enabled me to obtain partial insurance coverage for the repairs (my lawyer friends had thought it unlikely that I would be able to obtain any insurance coverage at all). Bassam also obtained a permit from the city and worked closely with city inspectors. This involved hours of waiting for an inspector from the city’s understaffed inspection department.
