"It went awefull. When they showed up I asked if they would remove all the ducts to clean each one. They said it was to hard to remove them and they didn't. I asked well how are you going to make sure each one is clean, and he said they would be cleaned from the air intake location, all the way to the wall grate. After they left a friend removed the grates from the ducts to expose the ducts and they were absolutly not cleaned at all, they are filthy, full of visible and touchable dirt. I have a respiratory issue and this is the reason why I hired a professional to clean ducts. The worker offered to use the chemical. I asked if it had an oder and he said it smelled like bleach and I declined that service. It would have been stupid to spray that inside filthy ducts and claim they are clean. Furthermore I was told on the phone that an industrial vaccume would be used off the vehicle. When workers came they said they would not use that, and instead used a shop vaccume which was inadequate, since I can see the ducks are not cleaned at all. Additionally I was overcharged for the ( lack of) service grossly. I now have the information of a duck cleaner in my condos neighborhood who does the job for $200, including ALL vents. I was charged 300 and They didn't even clean my dryer duct, which should have been part of the duck cleaning job. I want a full refund. Additionally, the one worker smelled like beer and left his drill here which I still have. I do not want to deal with this substandard company again if at all possible."

"We had a new system put in the end of 2020. Gentry has always been prompt, knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. During this last storm our heater went out. I called on Sunday afternoon and I actually spoke to a person, who was very nice, and said someone would call me. Within minutes someone actually did and tried to help over phone. I had already tried what was suggested but he assured me we would see a service man the next day (Monday). Someone did call Monday morning and we did have a serviceman come out promptly. Albert was prompt, professional and immediately got to work. Our unit is underground and is difficult to get to but he went down there and worked until he got it working. It was a frozen line which he fixed and rerouted. He suggested a few things for another snow or freeze and left. The heater has been working since then. We would highly recommend Gentry Service in Swannanoa for new heating system or for service. We have been very satisfied from the beginning."

Wade was also very kind and provided the dryer vent cleaning at no extra charge. Wade and Jacob accommodated us by maintaining the use of face masks and foot coverings not only respecting our home but also our health and safety at this time of Covid. "I ordered a Sunsetter awning from Smart Repair. They ordered the wrong size and installed it on my house. I have been trying to get the awning replaced for 2 months. I am getting the run around and now no one will return my calls. Then I found out that this “deal” was almost twice the going rate for a similar product!! DON’T USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE PATIENCE AND MONEY TO BURN!! Edit: This is part 2 of my previous review of Smart Repairs. All of my paperwork says I ordered an awning from Sunsetters. After trying to resolve my original issue with the awning being too short, I find out that my awning isn't a Sunsetter awning at all but from a different company that I never heard of or was told of!!! FRAUD!! I am still playing phone tag with the owner- he is always out of the office and won't return my calls. I was told from another worker that the offer to refund my money was rescinded since I wrote negative reviews about the company. So now they are strong arming me and doing consumer fraud!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!"
