"Outstanding project management and professionalism. We have been having trouble with standing water so Boyd suggested a channel drain at the low spot in the driveway. He tied three downspouts into a total of 80-feet drain pipe that he ran into the backyard, going under an existing sidewalk. He also added an alternate drain line under the new sidewalk because he had some concern one of the downspouts might overwhelm the channel drain. I really appreciate the plan B! My son and I removed the old driveway and dug the channel for the new sidewalk, In doing so we damaged one of the existing walks which Boyd also repaired for us, better than new! His crew was obviously professional and had worked together for awhile. Every time I came out they were each working an assigned task with minimal direction and no fuss from what I could see. The job took two days, one for setup, one for pouring. Cleanup was complete and the channel drain looks great! He left cones up for 30 days to let the concrete cure. I would recommend Boyd and his crew to any of my friends who might need concrete work done in the future. They obviously know what they are doing and the result proves it."

When deciding to replace the present asphalt with concreate, I went to home advisor and picked the top 4 companies listed to give me estimates. Of the four companies, Joe Rothwell of Pioneer Concrete and Masonry gave me the best competitive bid. They started construction just prior to the governor shutting down construction due to COVID-19, which meant a lengthy period of not driving out of the garage, which was fine since we were not going out anyway. When construction began again, they were johnny on the spot, and the driveway turned out better then we even imagined! The crew working was so polite and respectful, and when they finished, everything was returned to where it belonged, and you could not even find a gum wrapper left behind! To make things even sweeter for us, I have a neighbor who had an asphalt driveway 1/3rd the size of my driveway replaced with asphalt and paid more than I did. I highly recommend Pioneer Concrete and Masonry, and if you do not get a bid from Joe, you are making a mistake!"

They were very timely and responsive and they paid attention to the details. It was the small things too, like protecting the street when the cement mixer truck was unloading or how they cleaned up the job site at the end of the day. They even went down in front of our neighbors houses to blow out the demo dust."
