The first thing to know about this company is that Udo is a knowledgeable professional who is happy to answer any questions leading up to the job, and assist with things that can be challenging, like getting permits or working with HOAs. During the work he checked in multiple times and even supplied some photos of the roof while the crew was up there, to confirm boards were all OK. In short, he doesn't miss details and does a great job communicating throughout. We went with a higher grade of shingle and supporting materials, and so far (after 30+ days and several storms) the overall quality looks great. I don't anticipate any issues through the coming winter, but will update should anything warrant it. Can fully recommend Seidel and we are also likely to use them for a siding project, based on our positive experiences with the roof."

I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself.
