"Early Saturday evening we lost water. I called our regular well company immediately but did not receive a return call. I understand, not everyone wants to work on the weekend but by 5:45 AM Sunday AM we were fairly miserable. Carrying water from the swimming pool over hardwood floors in order to refill toilets is not my idea of fun. I put in a call on a Sunday morning a bit after 7:30 AM to Bay Area Pump and Wesley texted back almost immediately. He asked if between 10:00 - 10:30 AM was ok (I was thrilled) and was at our house at 10:00 AM. The problem was ants had gotten in the well's electric box. I asked if we should have the well serviced regularly and he said no, just spray to keep the ants down. Wow, someone who responds quickly, is punctual, works on a Sunday morning for a fair cost AND doesn't try to sell us a service policy! Water restored, my husband and I are delighted and highly recommend Wesley and Bay Area Pump."

"I called Jerry on a Saturday. Jerry worked with me and gave me a solution until he could get the part on Monday to avoid me paying twice for a problem he was able to diagnose on the phone. Very professional and helpful. Jerry always seems all about the customer and finding solutions when they are in a bind. When my pressure tank failed I was on the phone with him Off and on for about an hour. Jerry was patient and professional. His son replaces the pressure tank and was just as professional. $600ish for the pump install and was $345 parts and labor for the pressure tank install"

"Woke up to no running water, I called Mike at Hillsborough Pump and Well at 7:30 am, he was there by 9:30. After checking the system and explaining what he found, he gave me the bad news, both my pump and tank needed to be replaced. I paid my $95 check out fee, (which he later applied to the repair) and told him I was going to get some other quotes. He was very helpful and provided me a written quote with specifics on the type of equipment he recommended. After making several calls and researching a bit online, I found his price to be competitive, but not the lowest, most importantly he was able to start right away. Mike came back the same day around 12:30 and started the job. Everything went fine, the job was done much faster than I had expected, then Mike ran into a problem. We were getting water to the house but not in the house. After spending a bunch of extra time he discovered a piece of the old pump had clogged one of the pipes inside the house. He did not charge me any extra for the additional labor or materials needed to correct the issue. I appreciated the extra effort and his professionalism. <br />"

Due to a nasty lightning storm that knocked out a bunch of electrical items at the house...David troubleshot the problem and replaced the pump control box and also measured the power level pull of the pump when operational..found out that it is pulling 50% above recommended but it is OK to operate but an replacement may be needed ..The looking out for you now and down the road is why I have been their client for over 6 years"

"Everyone I dealt with at Pope's were complete professionals and just plain nice people. I was promised first thing in the morning service and that's exactly what I got. Seems all the reviews I read about this company and the technician Danny are true. First off Danny is prompt, courteous, personable, honest and above all else he really knows his stuff. I had expected my pump to be completely shot and was not looking forward to shelling out $1500 - $2000 to replace it but that's life with a submersible pump. In no time at all Danny found the problem to be just two burnt wires. A CRC Control Box was installed to help lower the current draw of the old pump to help give some extra life. He also installed a new pressure switch and pressure gauge. <br /> Saying I'm happy with their service is a bit of an understatement, ecstatic is more like it. An unscrupulous person or company could of easily convinced me that my pump was history and sold me thousands of dollars of work. The honesty of Danny reflects on not only his integrity but that of Pope's. Thank you all very much.  Pope's has me for a customer for life and I cannot reccomend anyone else. <br />"

"They answered my call right away and set up an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately they came out with a 1 hp pump instead of 1.5 hp pump. I told the person who sets up the appointments that the pump was so old couldn't tell what size pump I had. They only brought out the smaller pump. So they had to come back the next day. Not a huge deal. Job itself was done very well and would have them back to do other work."
