"CHI did an exceptional job replacing windows and a storm door. The cluster of 7 windows is in a brick-cladded wall, with curved oak trim on the interior. The result is beautiful--the new trim matches perfectly. What most impressed us was how careful and thorough everyone was. The crew worked together to come up with the best way to handle problems. For example, the storm door hardware didn't fit right, so they came back an extra morning to modify the wood framing. Overall, they did what was needed to get a good result."

"They did an efficient and very professional job.  I had underestimated the number of windows, but Eric would come back to me for a decision as to whether to go ahead with the extra ones or not.  I don't think the windows in the house had been cleaned in 8-10 years and they left them SPOTLESS.  The staff were very friendly and accommodating.   <br /> My deck was a real mess after this last winter, with birds, squirrel and raccoons having spread dirtied suet all over it, in addition to all the roof gunk resulting from earlier ice dam removal. The power cleaning got rid of all the grease, detritus and dirt.  It also removed some of the paint on the deck, which I wasn't surprised about, given the amount of winter damage.  I'll have to deal with that separately.   <br /> All in all an excellent experience.  Thanks to Eric and his team."

"Brian was great. Very responsive, answering calls after hours and also trying to be as flexible as possible to make sure our schedules aligned and he could get the work done as soon as possible. When he got there he was very knowledgeable, took a look and explained to me what was going on. There was a problem with the side cables as well as the overall spring tension. He did a general inspection of the main door as well as the smaller 3rd car door. Also caught a couple other smaller issues that he fixed along the way without any expensive add ons. Before wrapping up he also touched up both doors to ensure proper operation and movement. Great job overall, will be calling him for any other garage door needs in the future."

"Kurt and his crew did an wonderful job washing, prepping and painting our large old St Paul home, including small repairs to rotted wood. Kurt is helpful at brainstorming and guiding to painting decisions. The crew is respectful to the property and to neighbors, and we received several compliments on them. They were certainly not the least expensive painting bid, but I believe they're well worth it. :)"

"<p>This was our first major remodel and we are very happy with the work performed by SpaceMakers. We met with representatives from 5 design/remodel companies and from the first were most impressed with Rick and Kian. They were very responsive to our ideas and were the only company willing to provide a firm quote (rather than a ballpark estimate) without requiring a down payment. Their quote was in the lower half of the numbers we received, and there were many items in their "basic" quote (such as soft-close cabinet doors and drawers, and Cambrian countertops) that would have added to other estimates. </p> <p>Kian very quickly gained an understanding of our preferences and guided us to the items that were best suited to us. She came with us to most of the places to chose items and planned well ahead to keep things on schedule as far as materials delivery. We can't say enough about Kian, she was wonderful to work with. We were also very happy with the vendors to which we were referred for various items, such as the kitchen faucets. </p> <p>Tony and Clay, Rick's guys, were great, very hard-working, timely and considerate. Although we are both retired and at home most of the time, we never worried about having to be gone when they were there. All of the sub-contractors - plumbing, ceilings, floors -  were also very knowledgeable and efficient. </p> <p>We had a couple of hitches along the way, no fault of SpaceMakers, a return duct in an unexpected place and a gas leak. Work was adjusted and issues were resolved on a timely basis. Once the cold weather set in we realized the damper had not been installed in our new microwave. We called Rick and he and Tony were there to correct and reinstall, no arguments or delays, and with apologies.</p> <p>We love our new kitchen. We will certainly turn to SpaceMakers first for any future remodeling.</p> <br />"
