We hired someone to save us time during a large demo project, but wish we just did it ourselves from the beginning to save time and headache. But don't worry, they're a construction company too... a little too convenient However, after the technician left, my husband decided to inspect it himself since we just had it cleaned within a year ago. Within an hr, he was able to clean out a considerable amount of lint, but there was no actual blockage obstructing the vent. In fact, as you can see in the attached photograph, a standard dryer vent cleaning tool could pass straight through the hose from the front to the back. Not to mention, there is plenty of air coming through the vent and none coming back into the home."
