"My wife and I hired All Star Contractors to convert an attached garage into living space (about 250 sq ft) and we had an outstanding experience with them. Bill managed every step of the process (design, permitting, build) honestly and fairly, with excellent communication and reasonable pricing. The end result is exactly what we had hoped for. We first reached out to the company with a general idea of what we wanted to accomplish, and our budget. "Summary: Tony Martin runs a top-notch company. Clean. Respectful. Detailed. Punctual. Clear and prompt communication. Excellent finished result. The details:Just a few hours before I had to leave on a flight out of the country, I discovered that my water heater was leaking when water was coming up through the seams of my laminate flooring. I only had time to turn off the main water shut off valve and the circuit breaker before heading off to the airport. Once I reached my destination, I did some research on Angie’s List hoping to find a good one-stop-shop company who could take care of both the mold/water remediation and the reconstruction… I was lucky to have found AW Martin who exceeded my expectations. I contacted AW Martin after hours and reached an answering service. Tony Martin returned our call within minutes. He was patient and answered all of my questions. He explained that he would deal directly with my insurance company so I wouldn’t have to while on vacation. Within a couple hours he and his crew began working on the mold/water remediation portion. My dad relayed to me that they worked until 2 am and that they were extremely careful when moving my fine china from the sideboard into the dry kitchen. They protected all of my large furniture with plastic sheeting and floor protectors. They also used plastic to wall off the upstairs and my kitchen to prevent the dust from traveling too much. They ripped up all the wet flooring and drywall as well as scrubbed the mold and sprayed. They brought in industrial blowers to dry out the house. The next day they returned to the house and Tony met with my insurance adjustor to review the damage and discuss numbers. He was able to agree upon a number so that I didn’t have to worry about that while I was on vacation. I was able to witness the care and attention to detail firsthand during the rebuild process. Christian, Chris and Olger were polite and a pleasure to deal with. Christian always answered my phone calls and was able to answer any of my questions or concerns. He was the one that suggested the upgraded baseboards and it has made such a difference. His team’s wall prep and paint job was meticulous; no paint drips or messy edges. I did a couple of upgrades with the flooring, the recessed lights, and the baseboard where I had to pay more than what insurance covered… but the end result was well worth it. I would not hesitate to hire them again. I will recommend them to my friends and family."

"PERFECT! PERFECT! AND MORE PERFECT!
 We found this place called Trust Builders, LLC, on Angie's List  (Of Course), and James (people call him Jim) had answered the phone. I called him up on the phone letting him know what the situation was, and how bad it was. Jim did a perfect job with everything that he did here. First of all, this is a very hard working man. I have never seen anyone take out LARGE portions of walls apart, so meticulously, so perfectly neat and with precision skill. The wall sections that were damaged were removed and discarded. Jim gets right down there in the wall, and takes out ALL of the dangerous BLACK MOLD by removing that harmful horror that we lived with for so many years. He was working so vigorously and managed to vacuum out everything that was such a difficult and tedious job.
Jim worked for many hours on his first day at the house, RE-building the beams that rotted out on the first wall that needed work. Everything to perfection. The next and last visit to work here, was just as industrious and he just works his heart out. This guy worked so hard, we felt that he was really true to his word. He gave us a written estimate of EXACTLY what work needed to be done, and to the mark, we paid that exact price. In fact, the verbal price we were quoted at the beginning was higher than what we actually paid, due to the fact that the second wall was not as rotted as the first, and required less work. Jim told us that himself, he didn't mince words or take extra because it didn't require as much work as the first wall. Very Honest, Jim let us know right away, there would be a REDUCTION in our estimate.

I'll tell you something, this guy puts hard work, sweat and strength into his work. Jim KNOWS this business. He acts like a  PROFESSIONAL throughout, he was prompt, and got started almost immediately. He even ran out to get the materials after he was here, showed us receipts for all he purchased, and even left us the extra materials!   I would ABSOLUTELY hire Jim again on the spot. All I can say is, a job like this takes a lot of precision. If a contractor doesn't do the work correctly, harsh chemical black rot irritants could become airborne. He was very careful and we got kicked out of the room to the upstairs (nicely) for our safety. He cleaned every bit of the areas that were worked on, that the area didn't even seem like anyone worked there. Only that it looked so much better. Great Job. If you know anything about carpentry, if it isn't done right, it becomes a real big problem.  The price that we received for all of this work was unbelievably reasonable. VERY REASONABLE FOR ALL OF THE WORK THAT WAS REQUIRED OF THIS JOB. Friendly, Professional, Business - Like, and knows the business. Is there ANY reason to use anyone else? I recommend Jim for this type of work. You wouldn't believe all of the other beautiful woodwork he does. I've seen it in pictures.  Everything as promised here both in work detail and in price.  WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY? AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE WERE EXTREMELY PLEASED. Hire again?  ANYTIME!  YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT  : )

"Gregory came out and did a thorough review of our windows. he made several recommendations and explained pros and cons to all.the timig of everything was exactly as greg had explained. they were prompt, at the house at 7 am both days! best of all, they were very responsive after the job was complete.  we had a little difficulty locking two of the windows and found some cracking around a tough octogonal window that was tough to install. nothing unusual.  greg had a team back two days after i called and fixed everything.
Greg and entire team were friendly, courteous and great to work with.
if i had one minor complain
 it would be they werent as good at clean up as i would have expected.  left a pile of saw dust and from patio job and i am still finding little parts of windows on property.  they left some stuff on top of patio roof as well. this sounds much worse than it was though. on scale of 1-10, 10 being most neat, i'd give them an 8.
Incredibly satisfied, highly recommend and would absolutely use them again.
