"The roofing crew did a great job. The job was completed in 4 days. It probably would have been done in 3, but we had rain the afternoon of the 1st day. BAC had anticipated the rain so they did not do any work which would have led to a possible leak. They also applied tar to areas that could have led to possible leaks a couple of months before they started the new roof. There was a leak in the living room ceiling which precipitated the need for a new roof. The tar patching that they did prior to the installation of the new membrane roof prevented any further damage to the living room ceiling. I don't think any other company would have taken the time to do that. A real plus of the new roof is how cool the house has been. The AC has hardly been running since the roof was installed. I imagine it will also help hold in the heat during the winter. I am totally pleased with the job and won't hesitate to recommend BAC to anyone needing a new roof. It is an expensive roof but I feel the expense is well worth the money spent for the warranty offered and the peace of mind of not having to deal with on going roof maintenance problems."

They provided full services, including: roof inspection with recommendations, proposal with cost estimate, referrals to completed projects, technical specifications, application of the silicon membrane coating, clean-up, follow up inspections, and annual inspections. Minor repairs needed were immediately addressed. Questions were addressed in short order. The laborers doing the actual roof-top work were pleasant and cheerful. The cost for about 1,600 square feet of roofing was approximately $11,000, or about $7/sqft. This was less than half of the other quotes. Added benefits are a reflective cool white roof and a smoother roof surface. The house is noticeably cooler, the roof is free of loose debris, and rain/snowmelt drains efficiently to the canales and then down to rain barrels. "My 12 year old wood porch was wood rotted badly. Initial installation of the porch did not provide the rain/snow to run off properly and instead any slow run off ran down into the beams and posts. After a big wind the facet of one of the corbels completely fell off showing the wood underneath was completely rotted. Angi/Home Advisor referred ERG Construction to come out and give an assessment and they came out within 1-2 days of being notified. I found Eric, the owner very professional and courteous. He looked the porch over checking to see how bad the damage was and explained what he thought needed to be done and how he would not only repair it, but also prevent it from happening again. I was happy to see that he didn't seem like he wanted to do more repair than needed and I felt comfortable and confident that he would do the job and do it right. He was able to come out sooner than we had even scheduled and even with the holiday season being in full swing and the lumber business he usually deals with being closed, he still came through by finding another company to provide the vegas, corbel and posts that we needed. Eric and his worker, Aaron showed up and worked hard every day they were there. When they left for the day they always made sure that the work area was as clean or cleaner than when they got there. They showed up when they said they would and worked almost non stop every day. They finished the job on time even though we had to wait a day on pieces to be made. When the project was completed, I was amazed that it looked nicer than it did to start with and my porch and yard were completely cleaned of any debris. Eric took the time to explain what he did to ensure the water would not be able run down causing it to be damaged in the same way again. I am so thrilled with the job ERG Construction did, I will definitely be using them again in the future for any needs that I have. You will not find a better team to do your project. Eric and Aaron did the work of a 4 man crew and finished in record time. The other 2 reasons I liked these guys was 1. Eric is a veteran and I believe in supporting our veterans and 2. My dogs loved them and I totally trust their instincts. Schipperkes are not dogs that trust just anyone. I highly recommend them and think you will too if you hire them to do your job."

John converted a bathroom into a laundry/work room that I wanted to be both useful and functional, but also attractive. The project was slightly more complicated than it may sound, because I wanted the plumbing connections maintained but hidden in the event that a future owner wants an additional bathroom again. In the middle of the project, the Santa Fe monsoon season began and we discovered a fairly significant roof leak. John dropped everything, examined the leak, obtained the parts for what turned out to be an incorrectly installed skylight, and fixed it. He also identified and advised on some other items that needed attention in our newly purchased home. Even with the extra work, John came in slightly under budget."

"The roof work itself seems very good. Good quality materials, installed <br /> properly and efficiently. Crew was courteous and workmanlike. <br /> Richard was on hand to supervise through most or all of the work. <br /> There were two small problems with the overall work, however. First, <br /> the old roof waste and new materials were moved off and on the <br /> roof at a point where a gutter was in the way. In the course of the work, <br /> some damage was done to the gutter. It no longer drains properly, since <br /> it was bent slightly in the middle. When I noticed this, Richard was <br /> standing there looking at it as well. He said "Were you going to do <br /> new gutters?". I said "I wasn't planning on it". Before he left the <br /> site, he tried to fix it at the attachment points, but the fix was not <br /> enough to set the gutter straight again. In hindsight, the gutter <br /> should have been removed before work was started. It would <br /> have taken 10 minutes to remove it and put it back when done. <br /> The second problem was a lack of control of  debris from the old <br /> roof. As part of the process, they use a leaf blower to blow old <br /> roof grit and small debris off the roof. The problem is that the <br /> holes for the turbine installation were open, and a significant <br /> amount of debris  blew through the open holes and into my <br /> attic storage space. I spent an hour up there with a shop-vac, <br /> cleaning up what I could. I even found some debris downstairs <br /> in a bathroom, where it had found its way in through a small <br /> bathroom vent fan. They should have plugged the holes <br /> before blowing the debris. Otherwise, the site cleanup <br /> seemed ok. There was no significant debris left on <br /> the property... just in my attic... <br /> Because of these two problems, I gave a lower grade on "Professionalism". <br /> These problems could have been avoided. I found no problems with <br /> other aspects of the work. <br />"
