He's going to give an estimate to repair and some of the skylight covers. He seemed very honest to me, so will probably hire them. I don't want to have anything to do with Invigorate roofing. So this will be coming out of my pocket. Since Invigorate roofing never addressed my concerns and insurance company paid them. I'll probably never hear from them again."

"We had a bad leak. Green Mountain Contractors (Zach and Joleen) inspected our roof and found extensive hail damage and several other problems. We had our insurance provider send out an inspector prior to Green Mountains assessment, so we had an accurate confirmation of the damage. All of the problems were addressed in a professional manner. Their team removed three layers of old asphalt and one wood shingle layer. After this Herculean effort they replaced the decking (wood planks) with pressure treated wood and Owens Corning TruDefinitionDuration shingles with a life time warranty. We also had new fascia board and an attic vent installed. Green Mountain took care of all the insurance paperwork and phoncalls and regularly kept us informed. They removed all debris and protected the landscaping . The crew was polite and informed us of any delays(rain and wind). "Roofing USA were very professional throughout. They were punctual, although the work got done a few weeks later than planned but such delays happen in this industry. They seem to have done a good job with the Gaco coating, although I did have to ask them to come back after they were done to redo a few patches that didn't get a thick enough layer. They were happy to do that. They only had to resurface part of my roof - the rest is a walkable roof deck - and they did leave many spots of Gaco on the roof deck which I had to ask them to come back and remove. I though the price was expensive but it was easily going to work out cheaper than the other two companies I contacted. They also had the least disruptive plan for working around my AC/heating unit. I got a higher bid from A+ Sustainable Coatings, and Hollywood Roofing told me I would have to hire a crane to lift that unit off the roof while they worked, which they said would be about $2500. I never did get a complete bid from them but with that extra cost I assumed it wouldn't be competitive, and I didn't think the crane was necessary. With Roofing USA, the price worked out at about $7 per square foot."

"Business owner showed up at agreed time.  Ricardo was friendly, courteous and clearly knew his craft.  He painted walls that were new drywall and previously spackled.  Including primer, and two coats of cover paint, he completed the job in about 5 hours that included waiting for the first coat of slow-drying cover coat to dry (I supplied the paint). 
I learned a great deal about painting from this gentleman, and he was fun to have in my house due to his knowledge and friendly spirit. 
As to results, the room looks better than I had expected, and Ricardo's work is a real highlight.  I totally recommend Painting Solutions for any painting job and I have since learned that several realtors in Albuquerque use this company to stage homes for sale.  They are fast, efficient and do excellent work.  They came to Belen, a good drive from Albuquerque and refused any additional compensation for gas.
