"Shai and the folks at Above and Beyond Home Improvement were top-notch: excellent work ethic, punctual, hard-working, and very attentive to detail. Luis, the foreman, walked me through everything they were doing. He invited me up to the roof at the end of each day to show me what they had done and provided photos of the various stages of their work. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day, as best they could, and when they were all done, our yard was probably cleaner than it had been. The price made me catch my breath initially (more than I've ever spent in my life!), but it was fair and comparable to our other estimates, even a bit lower. And when I consider the cost of the materials, the labor, and the various people who had to be paid, I think the price was very fair indeed. They did, after all, completely remove our old roof and give us a new one. Most importantly, they did quality work and cut no corners. The whole job took around 10 days, which I thought was very reasonable. I give Above and Beyond Home Improvement my highest recommendation."

"I set up an appointment to get my roof looked at and get an estimate. Jordan stopped by and did an inspection, showed me my options, and provided me with information on roofing. After the work was completed, Jordan contacted me to ask how everything went and also did an inspection. He noticed some discrepancies that I missed and contacted the company to have it corrected. "It was excellent--from the first meeting with David, the estimator, through to the end of the project ( today 4/28/20) when about six guys walked around the property to make sure that not a piece of trash or tar was left around. David successfully negotiated with my insurance company to increase their payment amount and was remarkably responsive throughout--returning calls and letting me know anything I needed to know. The guys ( up to 15 at a time) were unfailingly polite, came and left exactly as I had asked and finished the job on time with no damage to my extensive landscape nor any mess. Also no radios which I appreciated .The only thing was the fumes--but nothing to be done about that."

"Roofing USA were very professional throughout. They were punctual, although the work got done a few weeks later than planned but such delays happen in this industry. They seem to have done a good job with the Gaco coating, although I did have to ask them to come back after they were done to redo a few patches that didn't get a thick enough layer. They were happy to do that. They only had to resurface part of my roof - the rest is a walkable roof deck - and they did leave many spots of Gaco on the roof deck which I had to ask them to come back and remove. I though the price was expensive but it was easily going to work out cheaper than the other two companies I contacted. They also had the least disruptive plan for working around my AC/heating unit. I got a higher bid from A+ Sustainable Coatings, and Hollywood Roofing told me I would have to hire a crane to lift that unit off the roof while they worked, which they said would be about $2500. I never did get a complete bid from them but with that extra cost I assumed it wouldn't be competitive, and I didn't think the crane was necessary. With Roofing USA, the price worked out at about $7 per square foot."

"Business owner showed up at agreed time.  Ricardo was friendly, courteous and clearly knew his craft.  He painted walls that were new drywall and previously spackled.  Including primer, and two coats of cover paint, he completed the job in about 5 hours that included waiting for the first coat of slow-drying cover coat to dry (I supplied the paint). 
I learned a great deal about painting from this gentleman, and he was fun to have in my house due to his knowledge and friendly spirit. 
As to results, the room looks better than I had expected, and Ricardo's work is a real highlight.  I totally recommend Painting Solutions for any painting job and I have since learned that several realtors in Albuquerque use this company to stage homes for sale.  They are fast, efficient and do excellent work.  They came to Belen, a good drive from Albuquerque and refused any additional compensation for gas.
I believe that Ricardo Torres, the owner of Painting Solutions is an ethical, talented and highly competent person who is welcome back to my home whenever I need painting or related work.
